Best wishes to the Scout team. I like it when organizations try to do things differently.
I also liked the last line of the article -- “Americans said, ‘yeah, I’m not into the whole spaceship thing. I’m just like, dude, where’s my truck?’,” Keogh said. “Dude, here is your truck.”
Now if...
I find it a bit weird to watch a video of people, laughing and joking, and examining the car after having spun out unnecessarily and crashing into a sign.
It’s one way to make money I guess.
So here's my situation. I always thought I had an 11 kW Onboard AC Charger. Always. In fact, I have records in 2025 of charging at near that rate. Then after the recent OTA and workshop OBC updates I get 9.4 KW.
For the record, I have the Porsche Wall Charger Connect which is hardwired...
I'm going in next Thursday to have the front windshield replaced due to rock damage, and my SA said she had 2 "Updates" to install. Checking to see what those are.
The OTA process says you should push the install button; get out of the car; lock the car (no charging allowed); and walk away for 7+ minutes (I always give it twice as long).
Is this what you did, and it it still not installing? If so, then I’d call your dealer and have them force it.
Don't wait! Get the extended warranty. Repair costs could be a nightmare otherwise. Check out this recent post that references your situation and another forum members who might need inverter replacement.
Here’s another data point on why an extended warranty is a good idea. In this case, the OP had a bad inverter.
And here’s another where a bad headlight might cost a couple grand.
