This is where the whole industry will go. Tesla have been doing similar for years.
From a manufacturing standpoint it makes sense. Less hardware variation, the easier / cheaper it becomes.

I'd argue that it spoils the lines of the car. Porsche should have hidden the opening sensor inside the wheel vent, since it's blocked anyway. This would have kept the nice clean lines.
The problem with the HUD is that it spoils the otherwise elegant dashboard. It looks like an after thought.
I love HUDs, but the Taycan’s dash is pretty bright and clear already.
For clarity, AirTags aren’t GPS. They rely on other iPhone users to be nearby, which then pings a location signal.
Not really suitable as a car tracker alternative.
Good PPF is also "self-healing", a lot of would-be smaller rock chips will simply disappear over time, or with a little heat (from a hairdryer, for example).
Much less maintenance than trying to fix a pebble dashed front bumper.etc!
