You would be liable since you decided to take the risk and let the car park by itself.
The idea is that you keep an eye on the car as it parks, intervening to avoid any damage.
Personally I think it’s a useless feature. I had it on my previous car and never used it in over 5 years of ownership!
A good number of the general public still breathe through their mouths, believe the earth is flat, and read the daily mail. The idea of educating them on 50kw vs 350kw, charging and etiquette is an up hill battle to say the least.
One thing to consider is value retention if / when you come to sell or trade in the future.
The 4S is an excellent car, but you're going to take a bloodbath on all those options.
A GTS will keep more value as a good number of options are standard, so it'll be (technically) lesser specced, and...
Not sure I’d drop €2750 on a digital / smart watch, an item that’ll be outdated within a year.

However, with supply chains what they are, that's no indication on what future deliveries might exclude.
