I doubt they would be able to confirm anything before an official announcement from Porsche head office. Otherwise you risk undermining or incorrect information.
HUDs are super useful, but I totally agree about the Taycans HUD. Too many screens, and with a clear, bright dial cluster display, it really isn't needed. My biggest gripe with it is the design, it looks like an afterthought in an otherwise sleek cabin.
Fair enough.
I'm in rural North Yorkshire and haven't had any problems so far (touch wood).
The only thing I worry about, as you mentioned, is narrow car parks, but haven't had an issue yet. My theory is that if a space is too small, there is usually an alternative option somewhere nearby...
The Porsche marketing team know what they are doing.
Raducanu is a good fit for the brand. She comes across well, plenty of years a head of her, already won an American open (an amazing feat in itself) and very influential.
More important is they want to appeal to a younger, more “trendy” crowd...
The poll needs an "occasionally" option, as it's too black & white.
I really like the sports sound, but I keep it off unless I'm in Sports / Sports+ as it adds to the drama.
His video lengths are getting out of hand. Who has time to watch a 90+ min video on Youtube?
Cut out the fluff, and they'd edit down nicely to around the 10 mins mark.
PSCB is purely an aesthetic choice on the Taycan.
The actual breaking power will be the same as the standard or carbon ceramic breaks.
The difference is they won't show any break dust / rust, so will stay shiny.
Most of the breaking in the Taycan is done through regen, and then the physical...
You're trying to get insured on a Taycan GTS as your first car at 25 y/o?
No wonder they won't give you insurance. Get a cheap run around for a few years, build up some no claim's bonus, and then try again in 4 or 5 years.
It still won't be cheap, but you'll have a much better chance.
Wait a few years, you'll get a much better deal, and hopefully we'll have some idea as to where the current economic climate is going. Buying one for your 30th will also make it that bit more special :)
My own personal rule of thumb is if I can't afford to buy something cash several times over...
I didn't bother with the stitching, as I quite like the "GTS" headrest logo being subtle.
If you're going down the deviated stitching route, then for the cost, it makes more sense to jump to the GTS carmine / chalk option.
There are no wrong options, just slightly more / less depleted bank accounts!
A simple phone signal blocker will stop the car talking to Porsche, leaving them free to pull the sim.
Logistically, thieves would need to be a little more prepared in order to avoid using the charging network. A convenient flatbed can sort that bit.
The Taycan is full of expensive equipment...
