Porsche is going a bit too far with branded Fleshlights...?

Possible 2025 718 EV styling (rendering)

Makes you wonder what they'll be holding back for the EV equivalent of the 911.

    Steering wheel cleaning

I just use the Porsche Textile care set. I keep the brush in the centre armrest and give the wheel (or any racetex area with regular contact) a gentle brush probably once a week, or after a long sweaty drive! Takes a minute or two at most. We’ve had the car almost 8 months and the GTS interior...

    Build Feedback - Taycan GTS

Totally understand, have to draw the line somewhere! We have the standard black GTS interior, spiced up with red seatbelts and clock, looks awesome without breaking the bank. We also optioned the race-tex b-pillars, and they look as good as new 6 months and 4500 miles later. If you are...

    Build Feedback - Taycan GTS

Build looks pretty good. My only suggestion would be the interior, it's a little too black and needs a bit of contrast to lift it. I would add the aluminium rhombus interior trim ($0 option), Sports Chrono Dial in chalk, and probably some white seatbelts as a nod to the outside colour (they look...

    Touching up scratches on paintwork?

How deep is the scratch, is it just the clear coat? If the scratch doesn't catch your nail, then you should be able to buff it out with some scratch remover (Meguiars Ultimate Compound, AutoGlym Paint Renovator.etc), followed by some polish and a bit of elbow grease!

1 Year old GTS vs new 4S

    No brainer, GTS.

    Wrong configuration ordered

Yes, it will affect the resale price. Personally, I wouldn’t buy a Taycan without the bigger battery. It not only adds range, but also better performance.

[Poll] Should Porsche join the NACS network?

I'm so glad the EU / UK standardised EV ports. :D

    Courtesy among Porsche Drivers?

If somebody smiles / waves at me, then I'll wave back. However, I wouldn't initiate as it's a little cringe. It's not like the car is a crazy rare exotic.

    “Electric” Logo on doors

I'm not debating what the engines run on, we were debated if stating it on the side of a car is really necessary. Personally I don't think so, you may think otherwise.

    “Electric” Logo on doors

No doubt, but doesn't spell out what fuel the car runs on, which is the point.

    “Electric” Logo on doors

Not the same. V6 / V8 / V10.etc denotes a detail about the engine, not the fuel used to run it...

    “Electric” Logo on doors

Would you put a decal saying “Petrol” on your ICE car? No, because it would be silly. Same applies to the “Electric” decal on a Taycan, imo.

Best Taycan entry point? Need your advice.

If you want the most fun to drive, GTS. If you’re are after fastest straight line, then Turbo / Turbo S. There are no wrong answers! ?

    Faded plastic trim

Do you have a photo of the mirrors? There are a lot of trim restorer products out there, I'm sure one will be able to fix it.

    Intermittent wiper judder

It’s probably the GTechniq coating. Put a bit of the coating on the wiper blade and hopefully it’ll reduce the judder.

    Octopus charging Taycan

A lot of folks making a meal out of a simple question! I have the setup you mentioned, yes you can get Intelligent Octopus. Super easy setup, works great. I setup the Ohme to activate when it’s 10p and effectively leave my Taycan “dumb” (except for a max charge of 85%).
