Not road tripped in Europe but the charge planning works great in the UK. Others, @tigerbalm have done extensive Euro road trips.

interesting (and good to know) that the J1.2 cars have 0.2kW buffer at 0% SoC and the J1 cars have 2kW.

I do a regular 280 mile trip, not super long, but quite hilly. In my J1 4S I would need a 15-20min charge (HPC), in my J1.2 Turbo I only need a couple mins, I could probably one shot it now driving sensibly.

GT cars are not focused on comfort or practicalities, surprised there is no roll cage.

They are PS4 NF0. Not managed to fit them yet, waiting on jack pads. Active Ride suspension noise is similar to standard suspension.

Ionity is improving in the UK but at this recent stop somebody had cut the connectors off, probably for the copper o_O . Reading online 10 of 12 were cut a couple weeks ago, when I was there most were repaired, 4 remained without connectors.

GT has new and revised design calipers that are more lightweight. I think the GT wheels would fit a Turbo S but best check with your local dealer.

20" are normally narrower tyres that make a positive difference to range and grip in snow/slush. The 20" taller tyre sidewalls have better comfort vs 21" but the Taycan is pretty comfortable on either. 20" will give a bit more protection vs kerbs, debris etc hidden under snow.
