Is my Porsche app down or is it just me? My app says "updated" but doesn't match the state of the car. I tried uninstalling the app and logging back in.
I like to the keep the right instrument cluster with the information panel that shows high voltage battery percent, battery temp, and 12 volt battery (which usually reads 13.5V). I would think that if one's 12V starts to die it would be noted in this display right? Or no? Also, it would be...
For reference here's the maintenance tables from the manual. A few extra things to check at 40K and the only extra I see at 60K is to replace brake pads which again I question will be actually necessary in an EV.
This is a question for the Taycan forum owners who plan to keep their vehicle beyond 2-4 years. Has anyone considered or purchased a Porsche Scheduled Maintenance Plan? I just took my 2022 for 2 year service and everything was fine unless you consider the $970 cost not fine. To cover the 40K...
That sounds like the same thing as the 2 year service which is usually a few hundred or am I missing something? I'd call around to other Porsche dealers to get competing quotes.
2022 RWD very happy owner here. I didn't buy the car to drag race. I spent six figures to own a spectacularly built luxury EV that drives better than any vehicle I've owned and that includes acceleration when merging on to a highway or changing lanes. For those who want to splurge more i say...
When I get home from vacation I adjust the temp controls of the house, load up the laundry, and check my garage to see my baby again who I've missed oh so much. True story.
Didn't even occur to me that range mode would wear out tires faster. Great insight. I used range mode a lot my first 15K but stopped in the past few months when I realized it's not necessary for my driving routine/miles.
19K glorious miles in 2 years but my rear tires seem to be close to replacement status as opposed to my front which seem fine. I currently have Pirelli Cinturato P7 20s which came with the car and my grip has been EXCELLENT in fair and rainy conditions (never go to the snow). 2 questions: 1)...
Had similar symptoms with my 22 Taycan after internal alarm sensor was replaced. As you alluded to the battery disconnect fixed it but I had the dealer do it.
Thanks for this. Taking my 22 RWD in for 2 year service next month and I plan to inquire about this. It's my daily, I put about 10k/year on it, I'll likely keep it for 7-10 years, and I love my baby.
