Xpel Stealth PPF which I've had for almost 2 years now. I hand wash about once a month with a home garden hose at low pressure, microfiber hand mitt, and chemical guys satin/matte finish soap. No problems.
2022 RWD with 18K miles and best traction of any car I've ever owned (BMW, VW, Audi, Honda, Acura). Can I make it kick out? Oh yeah. But, it takes a fair amount of punching it hard.
I think I'm unfortunately late to this party. 2022 RWD now with 18K miles but heater/remote heating not working for a week now. AC works fine and car works fine. Can anyone confirm if the error in this pic means that I've joined the heater failure club? I'm due for my 2 year service soon...
An interesting thread but only relevant for those who change cars every 2-3 years which apparently is a lot of Porsche owners. My 2022 RWD is my daily and like all my cars I plan to keep it for 100K miles which is 7-10 years. I'll probably have to buy the extended warranty when the time comes...
So in the past couples weeks on this forum there was a link to an article citing the Taycan as the most unreliable EV and now a link citing it as the best EV in the UK. As for me, I love my Taycan and it works. After almost 2 years of ownership my biggest complaint is the cost of insurance...
I went through something similar early on when they replaced my internal alarm for my 22RWD. In short, I wouldn't stress too much as I'm confident this is a fixable issue.
It's interesting because it's the same song from the recent Transformers Rise Of The Beasts movie. Specifically, it's the scene when the Porsche 911 transformer is introduced.
Aside from a faulty internal alarm, which was replaced in a relatively timely manner, I've had a near flawless vehicle. However, 2 days ago I got the dreaded turtle yellow warning light. My car is a 2022 RWD at 16K miles. The car was parked outside overnight before it happened. Battery temp...
Bay Area California here and glad to hear it's not just me. As an aside I got the dreaded turtle icon today for the first time (2022 RWD Taycan with 16K miles was at 62% and battery temp 59F with last charge via home AC 2 days prior). My speed was limited to 50 mph on the highway and just when...
I gave up EA charging after the first year. I put up a couple dozen solar panels at my house plus Tesla powerwalls and voila. I'm now off the grid AND charge at home to my hearts delight. But what about long trips you might ask? I prefer another American invention for such occasions called...
