Update for UK owners… I can confirm that Porsche GB has stated that 21,466 cars in the UK will be recalled for brake hoses. This was confirmed to me via formal email by DVSA (the UK Vehicle Safety regulatory body). Post #10 in the UK thread.

UPDATE: I have received a formal response from DVSA. Porche GB has confirmed that a total of 21,466 Porsche Taycan vehicles will be recalled for brake hoses. Screenshot of original letter received from DVSA.

What is the date of manufacture of your car? If it is after 13 May 2024, then it should have the new hose pipes and should not need any replacement parts.

For UK owners... I think the recall letters will start appearing from 03 July onwards. I believe Porsche UK is waiting to hear some more stuff from Porsche Germany, and this is due tomorrow... This was an update from the dealer yesterday...

@MajorJump - Apologies, just to add possibly more waiting time… There is another recall ARB0 (this is the front axle brake hose pipes) that is also causing a Stop-Sale. It may be prudent to get your dealership to look into this at the same time - rather than have to wait again in sequence...

Nope, only got a ICE Macan. I am however thinking of sending my petrol fuel invoices (for the courtesy car) to Porsche GB once I get my car back. o_O

Thanks for the screenshots… 1) Are these apps specifically from the Taycan (or general apps available for any car)? 2) Were you able to make changes to the Taycan 3) Does the app auto-detect the Car model?

My worry is that the UK dealerships do not have the complete list of cars yet. The same happened in US as well. Only a few cars were initially listed for recall, and then it became a wider recall. Is the UK going through the same or is it actually limited to 365 cars only. Do not know !
