Vehicles are usually stolen when there’s an order from someone. Let’s say some junk13s got ahold of a Red Corolla Title, so they need a red Corolla to swap/paint/weld that respective VIN. Highly unlikely someone will steal your Taycan unless they find something valuable inside because that...
I only saw another Taycan once when driving mine (a lot more when on foot/taxi lol). And whenever I do see them, I can’t even catch up(in a Turbo S!), most owners drive them like it’s their last day alive and I simply do not have the courage to play the lane jumping game
Well I will see for myself next week. I'm done with the loaner Macan and told my dealer to prep the Taycan. I'll drive it with the dead heater and when it comes I'll hand it back in.
Tesla screen isn’t like the Taycan’s, it’s a bit below the dash level, not flush with it, if you know what I mean. That way it’s way harder to see any scratches even under direct sunlight. But no, I don’t have any pictures, and as I said - the benefit is questionable, but peace of mind is...
I am terribly sorry to post here as a non-GTS owner, but I had Pixsel SPF installed on my screens. Even if you don’t abuse the screen it’ll collect dents and scratches over time because dust particles still exist and you’ll be wiping it occasionally as well which will scratch it eventually. If...
- Hood/Bonnet
- Bumper
- Fender/Wing
- FR Matrix (or is it just LED?)
- 4 Rims (Because Porsche won’t sell you just one)
- Airbags
- Stitching and whatnot
- ? Suspension
- ? Steering rack
- ? Internal cooling system (there’s a lot of piping at the front behind and in front of the motor)
- ...
Well, what can I say, if this goes on I’ll trade mine in for a 911. I’ve just done some quick maths and it turns out I was able to drive my Taycan for a whopping 62% of my overall ownership time.
Outside??? Somehow my dealer has an unnecessary large underground parking where all the proper models are stacked waiting for service :D quite a view to be honest, like M&M’s but made of 911s, 718s and obviously Taycans
Quite a shame that Porsche’s name was stained by those ugly looking boxes to keep the sales. Whenever I go to the dealership 80% of the cars there are Macans and Cayennes. I can’t exactly call this an exciting place to be in nowadays.
Same here, the loaner Macan they gave me is 89,000$, it’s a Base version with a few options. It’s just a boring box to drive around, suspension is horribly stiff, fuel consumption is crazy, I can whine about it all day while my TTS is in service waiting for a new heater. As soon as it gets above...
Well I don’t know really. Considering we get harsh winters I needed those aero wheels to protect PCCBs from all the salt and dirt on the roads, so I’m not really disappointed by that purchase.
I see, makes total sense. Then I guess I was made a fool, could've just bought 21" winter Michelins and called it a day instead of throwing away 8k$ on a winter set.
The HV Battery is the N1 thing they should have in stock. I even remember seeing another thread here about new battery storage facilities and regulations regarding those.
Seeing all these issues it looks like I will be dropping my Taycan 6 months before the warranty expires, I'm not ready for...
