This post explains it well:

Thanks!
I posted in another thread, but didn't update this one - Late last week, randomly out of the blue, my car connected and I could log in. The SOS light was suddenly green, so I tried logging in and the button was no longer greyed out. Something must have changed on the backend at Porsche.
There seems to be lots of room. We have made a few trips to Costco, etc. and have had no issues. I will try to remember to snap a few pics the next time we have it loaded.
I did poke around a bit, but I did not see anything obvious. I gave a little tug, but they seemed on there pretty tight. I didn't want to do too much pulling and tugging on my new six figure car though, as you can imagine. Sorry.
It's your car, you can put whatever badging you want on it, but I have to agree with the others. The "S" denotes it's a level above the base, which it clearly is not.

My new car has been doing this a few times too. Coincidentally, it’s been rainy all week, so maybe it’s related to water? See the pic below - I am sitting at a stop light in a 45mph zone. Clearly I am not exceeding 60 mph, but I have the red outline.
I disconnect the 12v battery and left it for about 15 min. I reconnected it with high hopes, but sadly my issue remains. I still can't log in, and the SOS light is still flashing.
