The diameter of the wheels is almost the same, regardless of the diameter of the rims (19", 20", 21"). The larger the rim diameter, the smaller the tire profile to keep the overall wheel size as close to the same as possible. For example, the stock tire sizes for 20" rims at 245/45/20 and...
I don’t notice any glare or reflection, but that may just be a function of my driving position. There is enough “roof” between the top of the windshield and the front edge of the pano roof that I never seem to have sun in my face from the roof.
Yes, we still need to get together! Sorry, the...
I used this thread to wire in my Uniden R7. It worked great! The only thing I will add is that to remove the first trim piece, I pried down just a little, then pushed it forward towards the front of the car. That is how it unclips. I edited the pick as follows:
Thanks again!
I have had my CT4S for exactly one month today. I live in Houston, and it has been hot and humid here for the last month. I have the Pano roof, and I was worried about the heat.
I am happy to report that it has been a non issue for me. The a/c keeps the car nice and cool. I have left the...
This has happened to me twice so far. Volume gets stuck at -1, and it’s right after or during an update. It goes away with the two finger reset, or simply leaving the car locked for about 15 min. It’s annoying for sure.
Although I have not used EA chargers much yet, they have worked flawlessly for me so far, including plug and charge. Drive up, plug in, and charging starts. I have not had to switch stations at all. The first one I have plugged into has worked. I guess I am just having good luck!
If you do a search on Amazon for "retractable tool balancer", all sorts of interesting things come up that could possibly work. For example:

I traded in my 991.2 to the dealer. They gave me a good offer, and with the tax savings (6.25% here in Texas), it didn't make any sense to try to sell it privately.
I use the included PMC+ as my home charger (it's big and bulky), and picked up a Mustart Travel Charger for $379, as the alternate cable ends for different plug types are only $50 each. The alternate plugs for the Porsche charger are much more expensive at $200 each...
It's effectively a two year old car at this point (with very low mileage). I would say 20% at least.
Make sure it's still eligible for the $7500 tax credit.
Let’s put this into perspective.
Let’s say you have the larger battery, so useable capacity is about 84 kWH.
Now let’s say you were down pretty low in SOC, at 20%, and wanted to charge overnight up to 80%. That’s 60% needed to be added to the battery, or 50.4 kWH.
With a 9.6kW charge rate...
I wholeheartedly agree with this, but I will add that Porsche is a very smart company, and they are going to minimize that risk by setting the residuals as accurately as they can, and in their favor. They probably know better than anyone what new/better tech is coming within the next 3 years.
I will throw my $0.02, having owned an EV for just 3 weeks now....
Based on advice from this forum, I did NOT pay the extra $1120 for the PMCC, I just got the std PMC+ for $0 extra dollars as its included. The 15 ft cable is lots long enough for me (you can also buy J1772 extension cables for...
