Yes I am very happy with them. I do like the 20” Turbo style as well, but I wanted a more open wheel where I could see the brakes.
They are very flat (not very concave), but all the Taycan wheels are like that for aerodynamics I suppose.
It's an insurance plan at the end of the day. It's a personal choice if you think it's worth the premium or not for the peace of mind. I choose to buy the inferior product from Discount Tire for my last 911 at 10% of the cost of the Porsche plan for a little peace of mind.
I didn't do...
Response from [email protected]:
"Hello,
Thank you for your message. We do not make a mount for the Taycan. All of our applications are up to date and reflected in our website.
Best regards,"
Weird.
Yes, you are buying a warranty on the tires from Discount Tire, so you would have to get the tire repaired or replaced at Discount Tire.
I have never had an issue at Discount Tire. They work on high end cars all the time, and tires is all they do. I would rather have them work on my tires...
That link takes you to the main page, and when I put in the Taycan, it doesn't show the mount you used. Can you please link to the exact one you bought? Thanks

My 8.4c any time of day for any quantity feels pretty cheap now!
Here is a graph of my pattern of use from my smart meter. You can see the big use at night where the car is charging, but there is a lot of use during the day as well.

Tier 2: Additional Charge if you use at least 501 kWh: $0.00 per billing cycle
Tier 3: Additional Charge if you use at least 1001 kWh: $90.00 per billing...
So I just did some checking on "time of use" plans available to me right now.
My current contract has an energy use charge of $0.051/kWh plus a $0.0355 delivery charge for a total of $0.08455/kWh flat any time of day.
The cheapest "time of use" plan has $0.00/kWh for nights (8PM to 6AM) for...
