This has been my experience as well. It's buying cars that builds the relationship.
You will meet the sales manager and service manager when you pick up your car. That's a great time to ask a few questions such as the one about the loaner car.
This is what I did. I couldn't see any reason to shell out another $700+ for a Chargepoint, or Clippercreek, etc. without first trying the PMC+. Turns out the PMC+ works perfect, so I use it for my main charger. I then just bought a Mustart Travelcharger, a few different adapter plugs for it...
I just have the "dumb" PMC+, and I have never connected it via a power line adapter (since it can't do wifi). I get all my charging info from the car itself via the "Connect" app. For me, all the info I need I can get from the car since it is connected. I see no reason to need to get info...
My car always defaults to “Normal” mode on start up, regardless of what mode it was in when I shut it off.
My car defaults to “Normal” mode on startup regardless of what mode it was in when I shut it off. All my Porsches have been like that.
I agree, I don't think the Taycan is a "must lease". I won't re-post my thoughts on leasing vs buying (I bought btw), but there is a good discussion about it here:
