Build date originally mid March, moved to mid May, brought forward to 5th May completion and can has been at Emden for 5 days (or not yet scanned in the UK I hope!). So things are moving! !

I got the call last night, she has been built and is awaiting shipping! Should be collected in 2-3 weeks. I will believe it when I see it though!

Of course. Ordered mid September with one ahead in the queue who dropped out. Locked mid Feb With a mid March estimated completion date. That has been pushed to mid April so far. Update so far has been update to order with a VIN number but will wait to see in next 10 days whether the build...

It does indeed seem crazy. I'm at 7 months for a Turbo With no one in front of me. Maybe dealer gets rubbish allocations.

I did the same with OnTo - I have been very impressed so far. I optimistically booked to send it back 2 weeks after original build complete estimate (March 13th) but have since has to cancel the collection. The car now has a VIN so I have to think that something is happening in the background...

you get a nice gift after taking delivery, at least I did with the Panamera, TBC with Taycan if it ever arrives. Alas putting a deposit of £5k down means nothing - we know people put down multiple deposits, pull out etc etc. The Porsche Experience 1/2 day is fun!

Explore waiting times for different models (Turbo shorter than 4S etc) and ring round dealerships to see how many they have in the queue. 4S are the worst by far. Good luck!

I went through this with my Panamera. Back and forth back and forth - new screen, new PCM etc etc. It still did not work properly so ultimately gave up!

I only went for a Turbo as waiting list for Turbo was 0 ahead - but for a 4S has 20+ allocations ahead of me. Plus financing terms with a mid Turbo similar to spanked 4S - easy choice!
