We will see if anyone with a build date of after the supposed shutdown date (7 March?) moves from fixed into production to completed. At least then we will know that slow progress is being made.

Nothing but positive from Hatfield - he puts up with my nonsense! I have been hiring through Onto to bridge the cap - just depressing to keep extending and extending...but so far the service has been fantastic.

Dude WBAC make a profit and are not set up for £110k+ Porsches. Just look at Porsche website and you will see. Take £5k to £10k off that and I would guess that's roughly what you would get selling. Used values are insane...

Probably a silly question but does "fixed in production" mean it is actually in the process of being built or merely that the build slot is locked? I had assumed that these things got built in a day!

I work in Mayfair - I am sure there are loads of Taycans around but pretty sure I have seen yours around Clifford Street?

Feedback is they've not heard this at all. Pushed by a month so far. He wonders whether it could apply to those that are not fixed in production. But let's keep asking and sharing updates!

I've not heard that yet... But all you need to do is look at used prices, definitely a 5 to 10 percent increase.

I have emailed Hatfield to try and corroborate. Mine was supposed to be built last month (having waited 6 months already). Add a new 6 months to that...I think you keep the original build and buy used for a while? Or indeed an alternative. Obviously this is a first world problem.

Pushed by a month so far. They build 200 a day, so every day they are not building...I think the values are surely going to go up again. Keep getting tempted by used but then the same model with less kit, 2 years old and 10,000 miles costs the same as new...So will sit on my hands

My build date has been pushed from 11/03 to 14/04 but this is all guess work - the dealer says they are told nothing by the factory/head office and just have to check individual cars. They did say that they have seen some builds get pushed out and then brought back in, so we shall see. I would...

I had this issue and told the dealer. Turns out their emails get spammed. Worth calling and asking!
