I ordered in July and collected today - CT4. Was due a month ago but got delayed in production by two weeks and then stuck in Grimsby for a week or so. I managed to get an allocation the sales manager was sitting on after a cancellation. I had a Taycan trade in so that was probably a bonus.
I'm picking up a CT on Friday and really interested to see how the Thule bars mount on the roof rails. Please let me know how they fit and post pics pls.
The original cars had the PMCC as the standard mobile charger which can be connect at 32A so 7kW which is the same as a single phase home charger. There are two charging options with the latest cars. I've gone for the basic charger not the PMCC on my CT as I have a home charger. Not sure if...
I'd option the 22kW charger if you're travelling around Scotland. I had an early Taycan build and often found I was stuck at 11kW on public chargers. Some councils have lots of 22kw and very few 50kW chargers. I've optioned the 22kW on my CT.
I didn't even try as I was sure they wouldn't fit. There's not much vertical space. If you take both wheels off both bikes you might be able to jam them in.
I have sold my Taycan, and picking up a CT next week. You can get one road bike in the back of the Taycan with the seats down and the front wheel off the bike. The reason I switched to the CT is the bike carrying options.
I received my invite on the 5th of Oct and the car arrives at the dealer tomorrow. I expect they issue it when the car starts producition. I have two of these now as I got my first taycan in mid 2020 and didn't ever organise the track day.
Can you only drive the car you ordered? I was hoping...
I had a Frozen Blue 4S Taycan but sold it back to the OPC 3 months ago as they offered me a CT which is more suited to bike transport. Ordered in July and it's arriving at the dealer tomorrow. I specced the roof rails and the rear bike rack mounts and asked them to find out about availability of...
I just sold my taycan back to the dealer while I wait for my CT. He said Frozen Blue knocks about £1k off the resell value. Mambo green, berry etc. are the same. Maybe just a tactic to knock down the price but worth noting.
I'm trading in and was told they expect the charger to be returned. They also said it's tied to the chassis number.....The recent software update did the charger and the car as part of the recall. Might be a bit risky to sell it.
I've had the Taycan for a year now, with the Mobile Charger Connect, as it was a mandatory option. I've never even taken it out of the bag. I use an Andersen charge at home and public chargers elsewhere. I've only thought of it as an emergency option but never required it. I'm about to switch to...
