I'd get your home installation checked. I've used 3 different home chargers and always get 7kW plus all the way up to nearly fully charged. The cable thickness and length of the cable run affect it but 4.5kW is very low.
I get anything from 40-49kW on Chargeplace Scotland 50kW chargers so...
A stone hit my screen less than a day after collection. 20mm star shaped crack. I investigated the dealer option but they just subcontract it (UK dealer). The insurance company arranged it with Autoglass in the end, £75 excess on the insurance. The screen had to come from Porsche so OEM...
I have Octopus Agile here in Scotland, tracks the wholesale rate. The rate goes negative on windy weekends so I often get a full charge at near zero. 0.8 pence (£0.008) / kWh on average last Sunday. I probably got paid for the overnight charging time. It was minus 9pence / kWh at one point...
Neither, just a regular supply. 16:30 to 19:00 is always over 20p as they add 12p during those hours. But the rest of the day is much lower and in single figures in the afternoon and all night. There's an octopuswatch app that shows the hourly rate and your saving against the variable. I've only...
I have the Optopus Agile tariff which tracks the wholesale rates. The lower the demand the lower the rate. On some weekends during lockdown the rate hit MINUS 10p /kW so you actually got paid for using electricity. The rate often doesn't go as low as the Agile GO rate but will sit about 6-7p...
I have a few playlists on Apple Music on my paired iPhone. The songs are showing as per the first sync of the list and I've changed them since then. Now the songs are completely out of sync. Any suggestions ?
My charge was just using the IONITY app and full price at 67p. I thought porsche was 0.3p per kW as well but it's clearly £0.30 on the Porsche charging app for the same charging station. Still cheaper than petrol but you're best charging at home at that rate.
I have Octopus Agile at home...
Did you do anything specific to initiate Direct Charging? I tried an IONITY Chrager in the UK at the weekend which it rated up to 350kW like EA but I only managed 107kW at 59%. However I notice in the timelapse above your display says Direct Charging. Mine didn't, see below.
I charged at Perth today but only managed 107kw for 12 minutes. Sounds like the same rate as you snb7x . It was 60+ pence per kw as don't have the porsche card yet so didn't stay for long. Just wanted to see if I could get a fast charge. Do you need ot precool to get the full kW charge???
So I picked up the Taycan on Friday and decided to top up on the way north today at the new IONITY chargers in Perth, only a week or so since they where installed. I don't have the Porsche Card so used the IONITY app at an eyewatering 67p per kwh. Plugged in for 12 mins and got from 58 to 80%...
Looks like they are already active :)
Any idea what card I need to use these? I only have a Chargeplace Scotland to get the free charging at the public points.
