Now available from next week (8th Dec)
Anyone going to do it. Someone has to be first;)

If we don't strike a free trade agreement with the EU then we default to WTO tariffs:
Fixed at 10%,
Do not delineate between EV and ICE cars
Are not on a sliding scale
Just for good order, the 10% "brexit" premium after 1st Jan only applies if the UK and the EU haven't reached a trade deal, in which case WTO tariffs apply (10% on cars, 22% on vans and trucks  )
Both sides are motivated to make a deal, I'd be mildly optimistic it gets sorted, and cars go...
100% my primary reason was the eco impact. I kinda work in the green sector, so I guess I have some personal motivation that others may not.
I like my "toy" cars but there was no EV that fitted the bill as "fast and fun" for me until the Taycan. I went half way with my last car (i8) which...
Andersen and Zappi seem fairly similar in functionality (Andersen also does solar), I went for the Andersen as it is installed on an exterior wall so the better looking unit with the hidden cable was important to me.
One other thing to factor into a smart home charger choice could be your wifi...
I will chime in on Pod Point. I invested in them via crowdfunding back in 2015, so have followed their fortunes for personal reasons as well as for charging my previous i8 and now Taycan.
Charging experience on their public posts over the years has been pretty poor, I was always reporting...
Yes your night time rate will drop to 8bp but your daytime rate goes up! For me in London it would go up to 18p which really isn't worth it...
EDF EV rates here
I am an the verge of the doing the same after a week. The car is brilliant. But charging is a nightmare. 37 Hours on 32A at home and work. Many wasted hours driving to chargers that don't work.
37 hours on 32A doesn't sound right, you must be on normal 13A mains?
I wonder if you are having the same issue I had a while ago.

Select another tyre type, doesn’t matter which one, then reselect the right one. This resets the monitors. Good luck.
There are only 3 new stations under construction which is pretty pathetic really. This site is useful for keeping tabs:

UK and France both have population of 66m people and sell more or less same amount of EV every year.
France has 222 Ionity CCS chargers, UK...
It is easier for the passenger to use that display without reaching across yes. Use case: when setting off on a journey I often use the centre screen for setting the nav. My son, eager to get his *incredible* music playing, uses the passenger screen.
Is it worth the money, probably not. Is it...
The documented 12V battery issue from other forum members seem to stem from issues on charging profiles being amended (intentionally or not) via the Connect app. For that reason I have only set my "General" profile to recommended 85% and not set any timed profiles to minimise the risk of any 12V...
I have set the Individual drive mode to have the highest suspension setting, so when leaving my drive or approaching speed bumps I turn the dial on the steering wheel (have you specced sport chrono?) and I find it the quickest / easiest way to do this.
Depends where you will driving? Have a...
Generally agree the satnav is pretty poor, although I'd stop short of saying it makes the whole car unfit for purpose. As per the OP, I research I route before I leave, plan where I am going to stop and charge and navigate to there. It's fairly minor inconvenience in the scheme of things, and...
That is correct now, but previously the Taycan was eligible for a grant, the change was made in the March budget earlier this year. This thread is about people ordering before the budget change but not yet having taken delivery and ensuring that the grant was still paid (it was).
It is using the standard Ionity tariff of 69p/kWh, however using your Porsche card / app it actually only costs 31p/kWh (equates to 12p per mile on your calc)
