Yes same issue - was listening to music on Spotify via Carplay with the satnav on. The Nav gave an instruction and the music muted....but then didn't unmute. To fix I turned up the volume.
PCM bug....of which there seem to be many!
It's off to GVE for PPF and ceramic next weekend, so I'll take some proper photos after that. Meantime a quick one from yesterday when I arrived home:
And a "live" one while I am now topping up for the first time at home:
Mildly interesting to see the Andersen and Porsche apps disagreeing...
Exactly my thoughts. Denying myself a month of driving pleasure to save a couple of £k a few years from now is just too miserable a thought. Life’s for living.
Just picked up mine earlier today, off for another drive now, finding all sorts of things that I “need” to do
There was indeed a longer delay for me and a few UK owners whose cars were completed after the factory reopened in May and sent to Ahlhorn storage, awaiting the shipping logistics to reset. Mine then caught another delay for the QC check. All in all that has taken 2 months from completion to...
Morning, yes it’s been released and is in transit, delivery next week I am told. As far as I can tell the quality check seemed to add a few days to the whole process.
Update - confirmed that I have indeed escaped from Alhorn to Emden and am due on the boat about to leave for the UK, looking at delivery end of next week. Third time lucky.
Similar update here. Turns out I’m not on “on a boat” as previously told, but also at Ahlhorn. The delay is due to an extra “quality control” check which is now complete and it’s now en route to Emden. Apparently 7 cars have had the same fate, I wonder if we are two of them.
That said, I...
Hi David, I don't have the exact date, but when the dealer came back to the office on 1st June I was told the car had already left the factory, which would imply late May, in line with yourself. No idea on the Ahlhorn question, I have struggled to get precise details so I stopped fretting too...
Same. Now getting dealer silence, they seem to be in the dark. This is my first Porsche, can't say it's a great experience so far.
[For the boat watchers, Main Highway seems to be heading to Sherness now]
The Malacca Highway seems to have the Emden <--> Shereness gig all to itself, due back in Emden tomorrow at 0600. My last dealer update was that my car would not be on a "June" boat (maybe they were blocked out for VW?) but that they were confident it would be on one of the following ones. Let's...
The Porsche discount is only applicable to Ionity as far as I can tell, very happy to be proved wrong.
The Connect app does seem to be able to be used for other networks - for example near me some ESB and also Newmotion chargers show up.
As for pricing, the ESB charger shows in the connect app...
The public charging network in the UK is fairly fragmented and in my experience quite unreliable.
Polar (also known as BP Chargemaster) have the biggest nationwide network and are rolling out mostly 50kwh chargers of late. RFID card, and monthly membership fee, charging free (on some low power...
Not 4,000 Taycans though due to their extra weight - maybe that's an explanation of the priority of the other (lighter) VAG cars being loaded onto the boats now in order to clear the port more quickly?
