Thanks! Looks like it handled the curve pretty well. My build locked already and I left it out though. My current thinking is it would be most fun if you had a convertible, to scare others.
P.S. I was watching a Tesla FSD video and when it ran over the curb the driver acted as if nothing...
It’s only worth it if you’ll be able to use the extra power or want the bragging rights (since you can get them to be almost exactly the same in all other respects). Only you can decide that. In terms of value, it’s cheaper per hp to upgrade to the bigger battery than to upgrade to the Turbo.
So the rock is playing the same character as in Fast and Furious, the best criminal tracker in the world? At least it’s totally different than his character in Skyscraper, the best criminal tracker inside a skyscraper in the world. Or his character in Rampage, the best criminal mutant animal...
The thing I could never get an answer to is if it's NOT snowing and just cold, what tire has better performance, snow or all-seasons? Especially these days of working from home, it's going to be easy to avoid driving when there's snow. I remember one Youtube test where even summer tires...
Forget about the seat belts, tell us more about the event! And did it include a promotion for buying a new Porsche? (When I went to the "roadshow" a long time ago the benefit was 3 years free maintenance.)
Sorry to be a party pooper but he was probably thinking why does everyone think they’re racing me.
I traded in my Ferrari for my Taycan but lettuce be real tea: a 488 Spider is half a second faster from 90 - 128 mph so if he was actually trying (and downshifted) this would never have happened...
Weren't there rumors just last month that this was going to be tri-motor? I guess you can't trust AutoExpress: https://www.autoexpress.co.uk/audi/audi-e-tron-gt/353485/new-audi-rs-e-tron-gt-electric-supercar-boast-around-700bhp
Supposedly the aero would be unbalanced (even though you can get the front separately). Not sure I believe, just passing along what I was told by a dealer.
The N-spec tires are Pirelli P Zero Winters which are 149 mph max. I don't go above 145 so that's good enough for me, whereas the all-seasons would require restraint.
According to Porsche, overboost is only supposed to last 2.5s during launch control. So how come the launch control graph shows extra power at all speeds?
Actually, you were right all along @Silverback. The smaller battery is 613V, the larger battery is 723V. Straight from Porsche specs:

This reminds me of gas engines that...
Would especially be interesting to see the difference between the standard "Performance" battery and Performance Battery Plus. The hp/ton is 182 vs. 197 (non-launch control) yet Porsche claims they both have a 49-74 mph of 2.3. I'd love to see a wheel torque graph for the 4S's similar to the...
