yes, the time zone is set correctly on the web interface. again, all looks fine until the "Synchronization source" becomes "Vehicle", which happens when the J1772 is plugged in. The time zone is still set correctly but the actual time gets changed to GMT +7.
interesting. so you're saying the incorrect time displayed on the PMCC's web interface is a result of Porsche servers? as far as I can tell, the time is not displayable on the PMCC display, but you can see it on the web interface. it doesn't allow you to change it, but when the...
@W1NGE just curious if you've seen this resolved or not? I just took delivery last week and I was fairly certain the times were fine on the first plug in but a few days later i noticed absurdly long charge times on the PMCC display and it looks like I'm also getting the exact +7 GMT offset...
anyone install a smoke detector in the garage? brief googling suggests it's not as straightforward as just putting a home smoke detector in the garage.
in the end, my car did arrive on 4/30, which was the original planned completion date I was quoted when I ordered back in January. Now just need to wait for PPF/ceramic coating/tints…
awesome! good to hear that cars on the Aristotle are getting on trucks. mine is still somewhere in the queue to board a delivery truck. Hopefully soon but prob no luck in hitting the original delivery date of this Friday.
ah right makes sense. i guess it's been reported that once the car is offloaded at the destination port that TMD is pretty much useless and will just one day report all milestones completed.
mine even updated this morning to show that it's expected at the dealer today which would be impossible...
Just noticed my TMD shows:
“Actual date of milestone completion: 04/22/2021” for the “Port Processing” milestone
I suppose it’s just waiting for a delivery truck?
for me, the ship name was added to the “On Vessel” milestone several days before the ship had arrived at Emden.
and fwiw my car was at Emden for about 4 weeks and eventually was loaded on the second of two boats that would be stopping at my destination port.
called PNA and they sent me an email to add the car to my account and now MyPorsche shows the car under My Vehicles like @cgfrndpor
that’s still didn’t enable me to view TYD status but I went back to the original TYD email and clicked on that link... now I can see the status.
just curious, did your TYD "On Vessel" step get updated with a ship name before the ship even arrived at Emden? That's what happened for me and I'm hoping that once TYD gets a ship name that it's fairly certain the car will be on that ship.
fwiw mine was ahead of schedule by a few days and arrived at Emden early enough to make it on to an earlier boat.... but that didn't happen. now hoping that it gets on the boat listed in TYD which *should* get it to me in time ?
anyone else waiting for their car to be loaded on Siem Aristotle that's been at Emden for 4 days? the estimated date is 4/9 so i guess i'm just being impatient and perhaps it will in fact leave on that date.
@Mike in CA
our cars seem to be roughly on the same schedule.... currently planned and estimated to be on a boat 4/2 ... if yours got pushed 2 weeks then seems eventually mine will too ?
keep us updated when it actually leaves Emden!
