I had a Cayenne GTS as loaner for a week. Brilliant car for daily use. But MRSP is >100K more than my Taycan, so imho cannot compare
From the other side. Looks are very boring. Does not come even close to the looks of the Taycan. Also got zero comments / questions / compliments on the Cayenne...
We don’t have personalized plates here. And with a standard plate number you can lookup a lot of information of the car, including purchase price, first date of registration, registration date current owner, number of owners incl private/company owned, etc.
Almost the only information which is...
I also thought the 111 checklist is not applicable when you car is still under warranty. However they did the 111 check on my car for the extension. The form was attached to the agreement I noticed yesterday.
Car was 11 months old with 6.300km (no idea if that impact the premium). 13 months standard warranty left and 1 year extended warranty was ~1.400 euro.
Don’t know for 2 and 3 year, the 1 year was part of the deal.
Yes up to 15 years 200.000km.
As long as it is in (extended) warranty you can extend for 1-3 years. If it is no longer under warranty it is also possible but you first need to have the car checked for which you most likely need to pay an additional fee.
312 Belgium vs 279 Netherlands - interesting
In theory it doesn’t really matter if you buy at an official dealer or private seller as long as there is Porsche warranty on the car.
Software yes. But I really don’t like that curved screen in new BMW’s. I prefer for example the pre facelift version of 3 and X5.
That is the luxury I “miss” in the Taycan. I would prefer nice premium buttons for climate control, etc. Like the Panamera.
They also don’t do a passive recall in UK?
Here in NL Porsche replace the heather whenever you are in for regular service (or when it breaks of course); but they don’t do an pro active recall, just to replace the heater.
@Caraholic reading your story makes me think the decision to replace cells instead of the full battery might be also for Porsche to gain more experience on this rather than an economic decision.
I only have it for 2 months, but if I needed to buy again today I would buy this exact same car. It's still the best configuration on the market here in NL since I bought it. There are not a lot of Carmine Red Taycans (currently only 1 within my budget which is lower spec than my car).
From the...
I must admit 50% is a lot in one year. In November I bought a demo which was 11 months old with 6k km 30% below MSRP (and even more if you would configure it now).
Not the cheapest but it was almost perfect configuration.
I would never sell for 50% loss after one year if that was your plan and...
Thanks for sharing these experiences!
Two things noted for myself:
IONITY Metz for the summer trip + I need to activate plug & play (first need to find out how to).
A friend got a message for his 2020 4S to have the heater replaced by the improved version. Should be done in January.
Mine (2022 RWD) failed few weeks ago and I still received the old version; so fingers crossed it will survive coming 3 months. They mentioned that I will get improved version...
