Configurator finally online here. My RWD Dec’22 €133K would now cost €143K. So €10K for all the improvements and 2 years inflation. Not too bad.
Adding the sport design pack only changed the front and side skirts. Is that an error in the configurator? Or no different front bumper anymore...
Technically very nice upgrade! I have to see the car in real, but based on pictures I think I prefer the slightly more futuristic design of the old model headlights.
What is the price difference in the US? Here no info yet, but expect it to be more expensive, which might be ok considering it...
I personally don’t think the new model is direct competition for the current used ones. Not sure that someone who is in the market for a used 70K current model Taycan is willing (or able) to pay double the price for a similar spec new version. And on top of that the new Taycan is most likely...
Over here I see a lot of price adjustment till beginning of January, but last few weeks almost nothing. Looks like there was some kind of big market correction, but it’s kind of “stable” for now.
Of course “new” cars come on the market at already much lower price than 6 months ago.
Range improvement seems to be primarily due to the bigger battery. Charing speeds are crazy. I hope they keep the option to charge slower (and safer). I really like that I can choose for a quick charge if I just need a bit or are in a rush versus a bit slower but flatter curve for longer stops...
That is correct. I'm actually trying that recently. But also that works not perfect as it stays in 1st just too long on higher speeds where I would prefer the 2nd gear (roads where you do 80-100 kmh). Anyway, still figuring out my personal preference.
Agree to that. It adds a bit of emotion when driving sporty. In theory it’s really nice. But for daily use it is annoying, as it only shifts down when not breaking. So only once I lift break pedal it will shift down, which is very annoying in stop+go situation. I don’t really understand why it...
True. Tax based on emissions. So zero tax for Macan EV vs 40K for ICE.
But comment was more related to pricing of Macan EV VS Taycan EV here in NL. Very different than Canada apparently.
Just wondering why they would pick these Porsche headlights. There are so many cars with (matrix) LED headlights.
It’s not new. In the past his also happened a lot with xenon lights here, to grow the cannabis.
So my first thought they stole the more expensive matrix lights so it can be sold...
Exactly. HV battery would be main reason for extended warranty and then it is excluded..
With my current mileage I will also go over the 160.000km already after 3-4 years. So if it breaks after the car is TL.
Not very different than other manufacturers warranties on HV batteries btw.
Most cars with an auto function will switch lights on when rain sensor gets triggered. When foggy it is a bigger issue.
In the past it was even formally forbidden to turn on backlights in combination with day running lights. These days manufacturers can choose themselves. Talking about EU...
Strange. You would say there is always a price for which it can be sold. Probably it was so low he did not want to offend you.
I still have my search criteria saved and don’t see a lot of changes in total Taycans <€100K available in NL. 110-130, every week 5-10 sold. I did not track values, but...
