Do you know the extended warranty options in the UK and whether you can buy this at purchase or after initial warranty period which I think is 3 years in the UK?
Interesting point with regard to DC charging. I would expect most Taycana will charge at home and DC fast charging will be on a longer trip therefore the driver will be with the car when DC charging and can stop charging at the level of charge they wish. But it’s does seem a bit of an...
I like the look of 19” wheels too. It seems to strike a good visual balance, 21” have a pimped up ride look that isn’t to my taste. All the advantages laid out by the op and less prone to pothole a kerb damage. Definitely considering 19” to replace the 21”.
I like the look of the 19” wheels. I’m seeriously looking for a set for economy resistance to damage and comfort. I don’t mind the look vs 21” which in my view make the car look slightly ungainly and a bit pimped up. I know this view will not be shared by others but each to their own. I’ll...
Very nice but do you think a grey would compliment the Mamba Green better or how about Aurum ... that's the colour I think would look incredible with mamba and there must be a car on here with Aurum coloured wheels, it's a natural fit though - outlandish - would it be stop too far? (some say...
I really think Taycan looks great in Mamba. I know it’s fashionable to have black or white and 50 shades of grey in between but I really don’t like them. So it’s not great that Porsche have removed some of the better colour choice. Interestingly a factory tour review on this site said that...
Taycan is relatively a large car albeit with clever design that somehow disguises its proportions brilliantly, so RAS is a huge help parking and generally manoeuvring at slow speeds. Very few people spec it but I’ve tried it and it’s definitely on the list of desirable items but obviously not a...
Porsche have removed several
of the more interesting colours. Looking at the classic 911 market it is the rarer stand out colours like Bahama yellow that are really popular. I think by dropping several interesting colours Porsche are forcing more customers down the paint/to/sample £7k option...
I think in the end (and at the beginning) Taycan in sedan or tourismo guise is a truly great design. The happiness of architecture counts for so much. Then it’s the Porsche driving experience, not the bells and whistles, but how it goes down the road. Not much else is relevant.
I haven't driven the PS+ Taycan. Does this just lighten the steering at slow speed or does it improve ie weight up at high speed too. I don't really mind light steering at very low speed but would like a typical Porsche higher feedback PS at higher speeds. I was certainly impressed with...
Thats really very interesting and thank you for the numbers and answering all my questions it's very helpful. I'm looking at a ST PB+ RWD on 21" wheels but might swap these out for 20" or even 19" for potholes and range especially in winter.
Do you have to try hard to get 270 miles? I am keen on a ST RWD Taycan but would really like to be able to achieve 270 miles for longer trips if possible.
So at 3.3 KwH/mile wouldn't that be 276 miles? Do you find 3.3 Kwh realistic or do you have to try quite hard to achieve that? Why is there such large buffer between gross and usable? I have an i4 and very nearly ordered a taycan but really needed a hatch but with ST available I am very...
