All the classic Porsche cars look great in the more interesting colours and now are more sought after. I say forget what other people think and go with your heart. We’re only here once!
I’d avoid grey (volcano). 1 it is boring. 2 you shouldn’t have a car the same colour as the road. Your other choices are great. Mamba Green is definitely up there too.
Thanks for this link. I think that makes a great deal of sense. I am tempted by the practicality of the CT but personally much prefer the look of the sedan. Shame Porsche couldn't make the boot lid a hatch if that makes sense.
It looks great in Dolomite silver and understated, darker colours lose the beautiful details (this is the same for most cars) personally I like crayon or Neptune.
Ah yes I had many 911's without power steering and what a joy they were! It makes you wonder whether we need all the software and driver assistance aids or whether we'd really be better off without them. I simple electric driven old school 70's or 80's 911 that would be ideal I think. Someone...
I love the standard wheels bu
Sad to hear that. I am placing an order for a CT and hope to change to a sport version if it’s released but sure I’ll be delighted with the CT. no doubt there’ll be some eager types buying in Europe and exporting to U.S.
Thanks for this. Such an interesting point that charging speed has several variables not just a headline grabbing max charge rate. Of course Taycan does have a quick charge capability which is so important on a long road trip but fo me and I suspect most others 200 mile+ range covers 95% of my...
Great post and happy you’re enjoying the Taycan and people you meet along the way. I’ve owned 6 Porsches of varying types and am returning to Porsche after 20 years with a Taycan. In the 80’s I could buy a one year old Porsche put 80,000 on the clock and only lose 15% of my money and spend no...
Agreed some contrast colour in the interior is always nice. I’m considering Rhombus aluminium trim on doors and centre console to help achieve this but wonder is the neodyme trim slightly gold coloured which wouldn’t blend well.
Agreed I’m unlikely to take the CT off-road which is why I really hope Porsche produce a Sport Turismo version. On the whole I’m not really a fan of the black plastic wheel arch trims but also like the lower slung version of the Taycan sedan.
