I've had the car around 6 weeks and haven't been able to drive it anywhere other than the supermarket due to being in lockdown - so the motorised charge port cover is the most exciting thing I've been able to do with the car so far. It's slightly ridiculous, but everyone - including me, still -...
1) Not sure, configurator shows different headrests only between the two, perhaps an owner can confirm? (I'm on 18-way)
2) Ah, the age old question! Probably not if you don't leave GB, but if you're driving to Ireland and Europe I think you might.
Most people spec it as insurance (i.e. "just...
Wow, that seems to good to be true - but if you get that in writing it seems like the best of both worlds.
I've been browsing through other general EV car forums and it does seem these 12v issues are affecting other makes too - it's not just a Porsche thing. It does highlight how far behind...
Rear camera replaced by Porsche under warranty.
Unfortunately my NS front alloy managed to get scuffed during the return process somehow but the dealer has offered to repair it FOC. So it’s back there again next week!
I have Carrara White and I know what you mean about “too” white - if I had to do it again I’d probably pick Ice Grey.
FWIW I don’t think you’d really notice the mismatch between the calipers and the body, though it might be worth posting in the Ice Grey Colour Thread to ask if an owner there has...
WTF and more importantly WhyTF? Why go to the bother of fitting a completely separate switch unit for models with Comfort Access, having to maintain 2 part numbers, stock levels, pick lists, everything? What a waste of money!
Nice find though, thanks!
Nope, that's not for me, no matter how many motors they put in it.
Looks quite nice in some other photos, but that doesn't work in white with those wheels.
Plus it manages to look enormous - which the Taycan is too really, but somehow doesn't look like it.
Much too early to tell for the RWD model (pretty sure none have been delivered yet, other than the review models). There's probably not too many AWD Taycans with the Standard battery either, but maybe someone will pop along who has some experience.
Nope! In theory EV benefits might come at some point, but I'm not holding my breath. Besides, I don't think I'd want to park my Porsche Taycan in a free council parking spot without expecting some sort of consequence on my return, can't see anyone would be happy me getting free parking in a...
I've had a few issues now with locking the car. It's a non-Comfort Access spec where I have to press the button on the remote, and I've set the mirrors to fold in when the car is locked (amazingly not a default setting..) really so I know that the car is locked.
Every time I've had a problem it...
Out of interest, did you power off the car before charging using the off button? If so, did comfort access switch it back on from the "off" state? Just wondering if the transition between on and off states might be "tripping" something in the charge process. Next time try either switching it...
