Seems short-sighted if the Turkish government want to push people away from ICE vehicles to EVs but I can’t say I’m surprised. Coronavirus expenses the world over are going to have to to be repaid somehow and taxes are going out have to rise for all of us to do it. This is just the thin end of...
Just to comment here, the adaptive cruise is the part that adapts your cruise control speed to take into account vehicles in front of you. So when you're on the motorway cruising at 70 and someone cuts in front of you and then slows down again (grrrr), the adaptive cruise will slow you down to...
Is that with a SportDesign pack in Gloss Black? Really suits on a Gentian Blue car. And those wheels match perfectly too. Just wanted to confirm you appear to have spec'd that perfectly!
Gentian Blue looks *so* nice when it's clean and shiny.
Exactly my point, though maybe I didn't word it well.
There's more going on between the charger and than car than just a supply of power from an AC socket though, right? There's communication between the charger and the car, some logic at both ends negotiating how the charge is going to happen...
Is this a trick question? ;)
Porsche’s decision to make the £700 charger “free” when I bought mine paid for Sport Chrono. I’d have burned through the £700 in my pocket, but now when I drive the car and the the horrible clock in the middle of the dash, I remember it was free!:D
Not entirely true - that default profile you’ve been trying to delete is the key to simple limited charging. It’s not location based (you’re right that any other ones created are, but the default one isn’t).
Just set the default (or General I think it’s called) profile minimum charge to 85% and...
I was just wondering the same thing. There’s all sorts of handshaking going on between the charger and the car when it’s plugged in, right? It’s not just a 2-wire AC connection to the power?
Who’s to say what’s going on between the two, but I bet Porsche hasn’t testing charging with non-Porsche...
Yes, have it here and no issues. I’ve even got used to carrying the separate key fob in my pocket (NOT on my key ring which I guess defeats the purpose). I’ve only forgotten it twice in 2 weeks! :D
It’s nice to get a call from the security operations centre though to prove it’s actually working.
As someone pointed out above, the manual has always said you can press the off button OR just lock the car and walk away.
However, I press the button. I’ve had quite a few occasions where I’ve got in the car the next day and the car hasn’t switched on and I need to press the power button to...
No, fine here. I suspect that's an issue at the car end rather than the charger end, since if the car stops accepting a charge the charger can't override it.
Do you have a Timer as well as a Profile?
My own opinion: I don't care about the range impact, it's a cool feature.
I'm sure every single option on the car has some impact on range by some miniscule amount, if nothing else than by just the weight of extra "stuff" in the car.
If I was that bothered about range I'd have bought a Model 3 LR!
I was just out taking pictures of my rear spoiler than doesn't sit flush when I noticed that the bottom edge of my boot (trunk) wasn't completely flush against the rear panel of the car. Is this normal or is there something wrong with that too? I'm not sure whether I'm just seeing problems that...
Wow, that's certainly unique!
Yep, gold, as above is one option.
I'd be interested to see it with all-black 19" Aeros too. I think I saw a powder-coated set on here somewhere. That would complete the utilitarian look.
So I've finally managed to find a leather case for the Tracker fob that fits perfectly.
It's made of leather and is good quality - absolutely amazing for the price! (£4.99 in the UK)
The keychain comes off (it's just looped through the back) which is handy as the fob normally just goes in my...
Yep, me too. Not as bad as the picture in the first post, but it's not flat. Wasn't like that on delivery.
My car was collected by my dealer last week (to fix the tracker that wasn't registered properly  ) and it was their driver that noticed it. He said they had 4 other cars so...
