You could try plugging in the charger supplied with the car into a 13A socket and see what you get. You should get 2.1-2.2kW (if not, just make sure that the 100% light is lit rather than the 50% light). If you only get 1.4kW then the problem is with the car. If you get 2.1 kW then it is with...
Thanks, but my question was whether those two thing are related I.e. the car forgetting the end point of the window coming up and it not dropping the window when the car door opens? Or was it just coincidence that the relearn procedure appeared to fix it?
My wife was complaining that my rear left door didn’t shut properly. On investigation, the window was not dropping the normal 5mm on opening, so was catching on the trip when the door was closing. When I was next in the car, I checked the window worked but noted that it had forgotten its end...
If I didn’t have a Taycan and was looking to buy one I think I would be looking at the very good deal I could get on a 3 year old one. But since I have a 3 year old one with 18000 miles, by far the best deal is to keep it! Occasionally I would like a larger range, but that isn’t really a deal...
I had a 4S that I flipped after only 10 months. Very little depreciation because there was a huge wait for them. Got a turbo that I ordered before I even got the 4S because it looked like that would work with the way the market was at the time and the wait for a turbo was less than a 4S. Good...
We have 2 chargers, each with its own 40A fuse and wiring. They work independently. Both have a load sensing CT clamp on the incoming power cable to the house and will throttle back if needed - one is set to reduce power usage if the house input goes over 90A and the other is set at 95A. I have...
Doesn’t surprise me. These cars are stupidly expensive to repair. I wonder how much longer they will be insurable without re-mortgaging your house. This is such a huge flaw with ownership. I know it is a prestige car, but scraping 2 doors is going to cost about 15% of the purchase price to...
How is this different from any other EVSE? I have an Andersen and a Zappi. Both have a setting for my house incoming fuse limit and both throttle back the charge if it gets close. This is just standard - at least in the UK I think.
Sport & Sport+ use the lower gear from 0 up to about 65mph. Normal only uses the higher gear unless you accelerate hard. So it will take off more quickly without the need to change down if you use a sport mode. Sport+ also seems to deliver more power more smoothly with a more sensitive...
