So what's this 3D Surround View option being mentioned here? Since I started playing with the US configurator over a year ago for '22 models and now after ordering my '23 model, the only Surround View option I've seen is the one bundled with the Premium Package. I had no idea there was even...
If the app still thinks your car is not built yet, does that mean your porsche app is useless and isn’t even connected to your taycan yet?? and also for initiating charging at EA startions?
I won’t have my Taycan for another few weeks (due to arrive at dealer 12/2) but I’ve had my Autel maxicharger hardwired to a 70A breaker for about a month now and it’s awesome! :like: I have it set to 50A charging 12kW - yes I know the Taycan can only do 48A at 11kW .
What’s so awesome about...
don’t forget offshore ship refueling expert :)
looks like the Cicero just needed to fuel-up for the long journey, which explains the small diversion into the inlet, dropping anchor and being approached by the Hydrus, a motor tanker.
Sorry, looks like it wasn't headed for a Belgium port after all. Cicero is now anchored in the middle of an inlet between Belgium and the Netherlands. Perhaps just holding on shallow waters to allow some weather and rough seas ahead to pass.
Maybe they realized they forgot to load @jld1 and @electric9925's and some other people's taycans so trucks were deployed to Belgium for the last minute loading of cars left behind on Cicero?
That's probably unlikely and I really don't know how these logistics work, but you never know. I mean...
Bummer. It really sucks that there seems to be a lack of logic and organization in how these cars are transported as soon as they leave the factory. It’s basically like a crap shoot in Vegas when everyone is at their drunkest that determines which cars get loaded. I expected VW logistics...
Same here! TYD just updated. I was bummed when I saw Cicero depart Emden a few hours ago and my TYD remained at Emden, but I guess TYD is on bit of a delay. I didn’t think I’d actually make this ship because my GTS just completed production 2 weeks ago and only arrived at Emden port on...
Congrats! She’s a beaut and it seems like you got a great deal. Perhaps you also lucked-out because your dealer may have been more eager to sell for any reasonable offer knowing that a RWD model would be a tougher sell to most of their customers with winter looming in Ohio.
This is why test-driving as many used Taycans with a healthy amount of miles on them whether through dealerships or friends/acquaintances who trust you enough to let you drive is very important before committing to an expensive Taycan. Everyone's tolerance for these Taycan issues will vary...
Yes, my dealer arrival date just changed from 11/25 to 12/9 on TYD, which suggests that my car will not be invited aboard the Siem Cicero. But it doesn’t look like there’s another ship bound for Baltimore for the rest of the year. Oh well.
