It is odd that the Davisville ETA has remained unchanged at Dec 23 even though it has already departed. Maybe they are taking the scenic route? ;) Or maybe it'll just take a little more time in the system before the correct date is updated.
Brace yourselves, ladies and gentlemen, looks like Confucius is about to get under way! Some tugboats have approached it just now.
The lottery begins! I wish everybody luck. Hope you all get aboard.
My guess is everybody who gets on will have their TYD updated to actual later today or...
Definitely have your dealer check that out. There might be a TSB on it. Girls should already be flocking around and trying to talk to you about the Taycan long before you even take delivery of it - like when you're sitting at the coffee shop refreshing your TYD page whilst still waiting for...
That's likely what's happening. The automated place-holder date of 11/18 has passed and since Confucius is still moored at Emden, even the cars that have already been loaded on that ship will not get updated on TYD until it leaves. That's what happened to me with Cicero; my "on vessel" date...
That's what happened with a bunch of us here who got aboard Cicero... TYD didn't update as "on vessel" until a few hours or later after Cicero had already left Emden port making a few of us think we missed the boat.
Confucius is still moored according to vesselfinder, so maybe it'll finally...
More than halfway there!
I'm not an expert on transatlantic maritime transport yet (though I could very well become one by the time my taycan arrives from reading these threads) but it's very interesting how most of these RORO ships' westbound routes follow a seemingly longer southern route...
pwl's website still doesn't have an updated schedule yet, and I have a feeling they won't update it until the new year. So there could be another ship scheduled that's not shared on their published schedule yet.
But those TYD dates often don't make any sense since they're just auto-generated...
Very nice and highly-optioned 4S spec! You've probably fielded this question before on this forum, but I notice you've selected a lot of options that are already standard on a GTS, like sport design, black tailamps, ptv, performance battery, black trim, etc, so any reason for not just ordering...
Nice! As long as it’s moving at normal cruising speed, I guess it’s safe to assume it’s not on fire.
Hmm, perhaps I should sign up for the 7-day free trial on marinetraffic satellite updates... by the time my free trial expires, Cicero should be close to being trackable again near the US...
Interesting. I don’t know any of this really works in the technical sense, but does anyone know if Tesla’s current connectors, that allow ”sharing” of the AC and DC pins in order to maintain such a compact design, are able to be adapted to 800V charging architecture should Tesla decide to go...
While it wasn’t the main reason I removed race-tex B-pillars from my order, the potential for adding production delay on “exclusive manufaktur” options was definitely something my SA warned me about. Good thing I listened. The GTS allocation that I was finally given only 2 months ago, is now...
