It's dirty. I have yet to wash the GTS since taking delivery 4 days ago and have been driving it everywhere doing made-up errands for no good reason other than to drive the new car.
But the nice thing about Chalk is that it seems to hide dirty well, even with a better camera that's not an...

But the nice thing about Chalk is that it seems to hide dirty well, even with a better camera that's not an iPhone :)...
Totally agree on the massage seats. I was initially hesitant to swap out the standard 18-way sports seats plus on my build for 14-way just so I could get massage. I did it and no regrets. The massage function in the Taycan is excellent, and a lot better than the massage on previous and...
Three days of ownership now. Absolutely ecstatic. Wife is starting to look at me funny now because I don't think I've been able to wipe the smile off my face since taking delivery. I'm probably still smiling when I'm sleeping.
The thing about the GTS is that it comes with Sport Chrono as...
My understanding was that until parts shortages recovered, electric steering wheel adjustment would be omitted from 4S, CT4, and RWD models only, while GTS, Turbo and Turbo S would still have them.
Just took delivery of my 2023 GTS on thursday and it has the 14-way comfort seats and electric...
Took delivery today, Dec 1st. My Taycan actually arrived at the dealer 3 days ago on Nov 28, so I guess I could’ve been a November delivery if I were not so busy with work and kids.
Anyhow, I have finally have it, and it was worth the wait. What an amazing machine.
2023 Taycan GTS in Chalk...
Regular fast charging is not recommended for optimal battery health. Obviously, for some people who drive very long distances daily and rack the miles up, this is not possible as using the available DC fast-charging networks becomes necessary. A necessary evil. But for people who don't...
I was chatting with my SA today, finalizing plans for the delivery of my new GTS tomorrow, and he mentioned something I found very interesting yet remain slightly skeptical about. I was asking about recommended charging practices and even referenced a thread on these forums, specifically...
I don’t take delivery until tomorrow afternoon, but I got off work early today and since I had some free time and was “nearby” (20 miles away lol) I went to take a peek…
Well hello there beautiful! Tomorrow you are mine :)
Agree that hotspot is a waste of money, especially if you already have unlimited data for your iPhone and CarPlay in the Taycan.
What you describe is exactly what I’ve been doing in both our Audis for the last year now. I didn’t renew SXM on both cars and instead just pay the $6/mo for SXM...
The day my Taycan finally arrives at the dealership is also the day the production photos finally show up on the my porsche website. Better late than never. And I shouldn’t complain since I know some here have been driving their Taycans for a while now and still haven’t received production...
Same. Arrived at dealership today. I scheduled delivery for thursday Dec 1, just so I can stay on this December thread, and not have to pack up my stuff and move to the November thread. Just kidding - busy with work and kids stuff and thursday is the only day I could spare. If I could...
yea, just TYD being TYD. My TYD still showed port processing this morning... then by noon it changed to en route... then just now SA texted me to say that it's here. Either that's one hell of a fast truck, or TYD is delayed as always. It usually takes at least 2 days to get from Baltimore to...
SA gives me regular email updates and sometimes texts me. Funny thing was when my car was already aboard the Cicero, my SA emailed me a link to tracking it on marinetraffic. Was very cool of him, so I didn't have the heart to tell him that I've already been tracking the same ship since...
enroute to dealership here too. TYD says Friday but my SA thinks it'll arrive on Thursday.
Looks like it'll be an early xmas miracle for several of us :)
Yes, Cicero is currently halfway through the C&D canal and should be unloading some of our Taycans including my own sometime tomorrow. Only took them 8 hours to unload and get back underway at the previous stop at Davisville so hopefully Baltimore will go as smoothly before it heads out again...
