What could possibly go wrong if you put an open can of beer in your cup holder then you did 500 launches? :like:
Honestly I always have to make sure my coffee mug top is locked before I drive off....
First, no. This is either misinformation or misinformed dealer.
Second, and as a Turbo S owner, I think I will be dead from the internal organ damage from launch WAY before I hit 500 launches anyway....
What a great point, thanks. I should have specified the loaner 4S is NOT a stripper car, but a well optioned one. So your point is a very good clarification. Sorry if I caused some confusion.
Another question have you tried unplugging and plugging it back in? Mine easily gets confused and will not proceed to charge, even at 220. It is one of the reasons I hate "smart" chargers. Dumb ones just work.
You are correct, except there is the concept of Hedonistic adaptation. I remember my Tesla Roadster when I first got it was “fast.” Then I test drove a P90 and for all its faults it was “faster.” Audi R8 is fast until you floor the Taycan Turbo S. Honestly the McLaren is a demon but I still am...
I take it with me to read on short trips, etc. Haven’t much headway. I’ll read something, then run to the car to try it. Then I drive off and leave the manual behind to drive!
keeps happening over and over....
As my car is in the shop for a bunch of campaigns and upgrades I was given a frozen blue 4S as a loaner (which I HIGHLY appreciate, last time it was a Macan). It has been a good chance to really compare on a daily situation the "differences" between these two versions.
I have always maintained...
Second this. I tried with two cables, one that was power delivery and the unit doesn’t light up. It must not signal something properly about power that an adapter “adjusts.”
Well no need for the detachable cable one. BTW both units are identical under different “branding.”
So I quick update, I just confirmed that the car2play adapter works, hooray! also they are running a black Friday $99 sale right now if anyone’s interested.
Will test and report the other brand when I get it on Sunday
Well this has been covered extensively before. Different chemistries and configurations push the cells differently. Some cars, like the I Pace, say charge to 100% always. The Taycan SPECIFICALLY says DO NOT charge to 100% unless you need to, use 85% max. So they believe if you do it when you...
You are correct sir, just checked the supported list. Now I need a second one!
Porsche 2017-2019
edit: decided to order and try the carlinkit 2.0, already have the CPlay2Air for Jaguar.
I think you may be missing my point. Regulations in US (federal and local) restrict use of high beams. Without adaptive headlight beams companies may be using the MOST RESTRICTIVE definition of the regulation. This may not allow use of auto high beam in urban areas (some places do not allow use...
Thanks for clarifications, completely makes sense. I know my other cars will also not go into auto high beam if there is street lights and/or the speed it too low. As I was wondering in another post I wonder if this limitation has to do with the US regulation not allowing matrix high beams to...
