These are stretch marks and absolutely not normal. You can try to fix them yourself using some heat, like a blow dryer but if car still in warranty I would press the dealer to replace it.
Ionisers are a simple and proven way of removing particulates from air, aka pollution. The only thing it consumes is electricity but the impact on the range is minimal. I leave it on all the time as I live in a city, I imagine you should too.
This is the fender damage after I was side swiped at very low speeds.
Porsche approved body shop recommended total replacement. The fender also got pushed into the hood slightly knocking it out of alignment so they are replacing that as well.
Not a cheap job, nearly 8k CAD for all the work...
Lol
Main beam is fixed, definitely no cornering ability. Unfortunately our matrix is deactivated thanks to our southern brothers so never got to see matrix cornering lights in action
I should hope so?
In Canada we already have Matrix activated which is brand new as of my24 cars only. Canada made matrix lights legal many years ago but because we're so low volume we just get the US spec cars. So if we're already getting Taycans with Matrix I hope the US will too
I would just like to say... I'm sure on behalf of many of us here. If you and/or your colleagues comes up with a "hack" that would allow matrix to be activated in North America, we would totally pay... hundreds, maybe thousand? lol
Sorry Bob but I think you've mis-understood how regen works in the Taycan.
it's much easier to explain how regen works in Teslas first. Tesla have only 2 regen modes, strong or weak, peaking at 70kw. However Tesla do not have the technology to blend physical brakes (pads and rotors) with regen...
What a week for me... 2 fender benders in my 4S in about 4 days... latest one resulted in a broken headlight cover.
The light is still working but am a little concerned about the potential of water ingress and electronic issues.
Of course can't even get the porsche approved bodyshop to even...
Were all the chargers you tried 400V? Sounds like it as they are all under 100KW.
If there is a DC converter fault then hopefully an 80V charger will work? Just a theory
I have not experienced this issue as I usually back into my garage lol
Although I do notice a lot of my NA neighbours never back into garages/parking spots where most expats do
