What gives you the background to critise this piece of metal and plastic? Have you been in one? Have you driven one? Have you even been to China?
All you voiced is highly biased, out-dated and personal opinion which you pedal as fact.
Eric replied with incredible restraint. You need to go...
Last time I was in China was also 2018 and I have to say the country has jumped ahead 25 years in the last 5. It's now completely unrecognizable. I used to go to China frequently for business and even I'm shocked at the speed they're developing.
Subways now take payment by facial recognition...
I was chatting with my uber driver and he said BYD's best selling model now sells 10,000 units per month in China ONLY (not all BYD, just 1 model). I can't imagine their production capacity.
Unlike you I don't claim to know what 300 million people will do or won't do.
I reported some facts, you turned those facts into opinions based on your own biases and experiences. The very fact you can't grasp this simple concept of fact vs opinion is more a mark on the American education...
Not going to argue about something as subjective as looks but the fit and finish was excellent. Rattles less than my taycan (which has been to shop 3 times for rattles and still not resolved).
I am in China right now and am absolutely stunned. I'm in a large city and would say probably 30% of ALL cars are EVs, majority of new cars are EVs. All city buses are EVs as well as nearly all taxis.
Charging infrastructure is insane. Level 2 chargers in almost every parking lot. There are EV...
I suspect the fish juices has soaked through the racetex and gotten into the padding underneath.
Reach out to an automotive upholstery firm so the seat can be disassembled and cleaned. Your porsche center will have a list of porsche approved shops.
I'm from the west coast and have taken on a few road trips. Haven't had any issues apart from plug and charge which no longer works after my trial period ended.
Have used a few ECs along hwy 1 too - never had issues.
You should look up petrocanada fast charger too... Used them a few times...
Why people take their cars into dealers for tire work is beyond me... Most dealers I know will just outsource it to the local tire shop down the road anyway but will charge you 'porsche prices' lol
Do people really take their cars into the dealer for tire work? Almost all the dealers use 3rd party tire shops and will just charge you a hefty premium.
Getting a tire patched is a couple hundred bucks where I am (Canada) and takes a few hours only.
Ps... Yes a lot of shops will refuse to...
Unless you plan on dropping the car from your pocket or have adamantium claws that shoot out unexpectedly I don't think screen durability is a big concern.
Finger prints... That's another issue. I put matte film on for that purpose.
Must be part of innodrive... The loaner had it and my car didn't.
Could have swore I've seen a setting called intersection assist before but now I can't find it lol
In a 22 loaner 4S, interestingly this car had a feature I've never seen before. Appears to be intersection/cross traffic warning?
I have ACC as well as nearly all safety options specced on my car yet I've never seen this warning before. Occasionally when backing up I've seen the red arrows...
I'm in a loaner 4S right now and before I drove it off the dealer lot I knew it did not have PS+. When parking it's very noticeable how stiff it becomes. On higher speeds there is minimal difference as designed.
I have an early 22 4S and never experienced anything resenbling a 'red screen'. The PCM will occasionally reboot mid-drive and go blank for a few minutes.
I do have the latest update which has fixed a lot of the software gremlins. If your car does not, that would be the first step.
