I was diligently charging the Taycan to 85% unless I had a long trip planned, when a friend who is an EV veteran told me that the 85% is only for when you are using fast chargers, due to the heat and that with the low wattage domestic chargers 100% would be okay all the time.

when your roof felt hot had it been parked outside for a while and did you hve the AC set to just AC and not any ECO mode? My car still resets to ECO/AC quite often which is irritating. It is going in for the recall tomorrow plus some investigation on fault messages. Let’s see if that Changes...
Being English with notoriously low temperatures, perhaps I'm more sensitive to heat, the temperatures of late have been around 34 degrees Celcius (90+ Farenheit).

I wanted to avoid purchasing the Taycan Data Package, which at £19 per month for 7GB is daylight robbery! (Shame on you Porsche) With Audi you can use any mobile SIM. Has anyone used the included data (I think it is 1GB per month?
I have the same problem, it was working fine and then 2 nights ago it stopped, I wonder if they updated the app. I set the profile to charge to 50%, so that I could finish the charge using solar the next day. However, I only discovered the problem once it was charged (from the grid) at 90%.
