I've had an Andersen wall charger at home for over 3 years and it kept failing. It still charges but there is no app control and a red light. Andersen want the price of a new one to fix it and to be honest it's my second Andersen unit and they have both failed on a regular basis, with numerous...
Call Porsche Assistance and request a hire car whilst it's recovered. I did exactly this, crap service aside, it worked and I dropped the hire car off when the car was repaired. Don't speak to the dealership until the car is collected
I recently replaced me Taycan Turbo 2020 with a Taycan ST Turbo S, pretty much identical spec, except I changed vegan interior to leather and added a HUD.
Would I do it again, absolutely not! Aside from the insurance costing four times as much (separate thread), there is minimal performance...
Hi All,
I've recently moved from a Taycan Turbo to a Turbo S and Porsche Insurance refused to insure the Turbo S due to the value. I had to cancel it and go through another underwriter, which cost four times that of the Turbo.
Moreover, I have to ensure the gate to our driveway is shut every night!
I'm getting a new Taycan STTS to replace my old 2020 Taycan Turbo, they have offered a protective film or ceramic coating are they worth the money?
The ceramic coating is £1,000 ?
If you're thinking of touring Scotland, I thought I'd share my thoughts.
We've just has a week touring Scotland in the Taycan and charging was a nightmare, we used the ChargeScotland App but didn't have the RFID card, around 40% of the chargers were broken, especially at the ferry ports and...
I'm unable to connect to the car from the App and within the car I have no satellite imagery on the map, no route updates for travelling, no weather, etc.
I've tried the 2 finger death punch and that made no difference. Porsche dealership (South Lakes) told me to contact Porsche Connect and...
I think it's down to the dealerships themselves, Porsche always used to have loan cars when it was serviced, they still do, but your have to wait months to get one and then you could get anything. In my mind if it's a recall the onus is on Porsche to ensure you have a vehicle. My wife has an...
We have a similar setup 8KW coming off the rook with a single PowerWall, although we only have single phase mains and an Andersen EV charger.
We were on the Octopus/Tesla tarif (Tesla Energy Plan) which finishes in August. The latest Octopus offerings are OctopusGo and IntelligentOctopus, they...
Money, firstly it's a company car and in the UK, the taxation is extremely beneficial for Company EVs, this is likely to change in the coming years, whereupon I would want to own it privately, rather than pay massive amounts of tax.
And, if I were to own the car privately, I would rather buy a 3...
I think we all know they are depreciating assets, however, they are still assets which at some point will be sold. I have been driving Porche 911s for many years and never experienced this level of depreciation, despite various economic recessions. I am merely alerting other Taycan owners and...
