I don't have an opinion on the 911 vs Taycan debate, but I think I know what answers you'll get here. When I saw the title of your thread, I thought you were looking for advice on whether to trade in or sell your 911 yourself. I do have an opinion on that. When you trade in, you get roughly...
I think I've seen this discussed here, but forget what people said. I'm going to be away from my car for a month. I want to avoid the dreaded 12 volt battery issue. How should I leave the car, does it matter? Locked? Unlocked? On the charger or off? Inside a hermetically sealed Faraday cage?
I’m not sure if we have a statistically significant sample size yet, but this poll would indeed indicate there are way more UK Taycan owners relative to the US, than you would expect based on the populations. Interesting. Can anyone think of why this would be true?
I had the same issue. You need to be sure to power the unit from the correct port. I don't have it in front of me, but as I recall, there are two ports on the unit - a USB-C, and a micro USB. Whichever one you're powering it from, try the other one.
It might be my imagination, but it seems there are way more UK resident Taycan owners relative to the US, than you'd expect based on the relative populations. At least on this forum. Not sure what this means, but if I'm right, it's mildly interesting. Or maybe I'm wrong. At the very least...
That is so bogus that they're claiming this is normal. So they're saying the creases were already in the leather when they made the seat? It is so clearly the result of something heavy resting on the seat after it was made, which is totally preventable, and thus their responsibility to...
No thanks, as I said, I’m all set now: it was much easier to pry off the middle piece after removing the key chain ring holder thing. So that’s what I did, but I believe you that you were able to pry it off without doing that.
I got the new key case! Can anyone tell me how to remove the top part of the key? I don’t want to break it and don’t see how it snaps off. I tried googling but can only see instructions for the older style key.
Put the car in sport or sport plus mode. Push the brake all the way down and then the accelerator all the way down. You will hear two beeps to indicate you are in launch control mode, and then release the brake. Be sure your head is all the way back in the seat! Enjoy!!
I don’t have night vision assist, and don’t really understand it. How do you know it spotted something unless you happen to be looking down at the dash? Is there an audible alert?
