+1 on the lack of customization for the instrument cluster. The two things that I most want to see - the outside temperature and the speed, are blocked by the steering wheel and I have to tilt my head to see them.
Thanks, RS. Is that you writing that? Or is it something you’re copying and pasting from documentation you found? It’s unclear. In any case, that does not seem to be like what I am seeing. There does not seem to be any resistance whatsoever to the trunk closing, when it reopens. Is everybody...
Does anyone know how the functionality works, that keeps the trunk from closing when it’s too full? Because it seems to work horribly. With grocery bags in the trunk, it will never close, even if it could easily close down on top of them. And even with my golf bag in the trunk, when it’s not...
Yes, for winter. I got them from wheel warehouse. Ask for Rick Teter. Savini SV-F3 wheels with custom white paint around the rim and with pirelli p zero elec winter tires.

Painting just that outer strip is a lot more difficult than painting the entire wheel. I don’t know what a reasonable price would be, but it would be a lot more than repainting the entire wheel.
Just an FYI, If the reason you can’t use homelink is that your garage doesn’t support Homelink, there is an easy and cheap conversion kit you can get for an older garage door opener to support homelink.
Update - I just found this, which I will try:
https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/trunk-close-lock-button-does-not-close-the-trunk.3963/post-54761
My trunk often won’t close because it thinks something is blocking it. Even a grocery bag, which it could easily close on top of, causes the trunk to pop back up when I try to close it. Also, if I press the button that closes the trunk and locks the car, and then walk away, the truck will only...
Well, the feature is called traffic sign recognition. I have watched it and it seems to always update at the exact instant that I pass a speed limit sign. I wouldn’t think the map data would be that accurate to have the exact location of the speed limit signs. But maybe…
I like the feature. It’s not doing anything to keep you from speeding, but sometimes it is good to know what the speed limit is. But it certainly would be annoying if it was inaccurate. I don’t understand how it could be, I thought that it worked by recognizing the speed limit signs you pass on...
For not having a front license plate. The cop was very nice - he gave me just a warning, he said it was because he liked my car. ;-) I wonder if Taycan power would work for speeding tickets....?
I have it, and I don’t think the automatic highbeams work as well as they did on my BMWs. They only come on above a certain speed. 30 mph? I don’t understand the point of that. If I need high beams, I want them on at all speeds.
