    Taycan.2

Yeah agree with this or more light weight batteries. I think for the Cayman EV they have already stated the aim is to get the weight to approx 1700 kg. Efficiency is the key component here along with faster charging times. 800v is great at approx 20 mins from 5% - 80% but they need to keep...

    Delivery Delays

No buying out right but in fairness initially I waited for the GTS announcement and then decided to go for the 4S

    Delivery Delays

Welcome to the "bored waiting group"! Ordered mine April 2021...scheduled to go into production today. Over the last year on many occasions have tired of the whole waiting experience...but I guess good things come to those who wait

How long from "scheduled for production" to "vehicle produced"

Maybe you can ask the dealer to send a screenshot of a more accurate breakdown, mine is as follows: Where as my porsche site just says scheduled for production:

Delivered to the dealer.....delivery to me on the 29th

I presume you have the new PCM 6.0 with the colour icons? I should be getting my 4S ST in the next couple of months so curious to know if the Spotify integration is included?

    Porsche running out of batteries?

Ahh yes it’s moved from the Drivetrain and chassis section for some strange reason.

    Porsche running out of batteries?

Is it just me or has the option to select the performance battery plus disappeared from the confuserator for the 4S and base Taycan models. Not that it matters as my build is locked and I am not selecting it anyway but found it odd.

    Delivery Delays

My advice would be to get that into your dealer ASAP as in my case due to bad communication on their side my build locked on the initial speculation spec I had given them...luckily I managed to get them to change a couple of things but as you can imagine I was not delighted to be told it was...

Porsche drivers are 55% more likely to crash while driving their Porsche [all models] compared to their other vehicle - Study & Article - Corrected

I think it is this part: “Among the most compelling new findings are the comparisons between drivers who operate both an electric vehicle and an internal combustion vehicle, allowing for a better understanding of risk across vehicle platforms,” said Ryan McMahon, VP of Strategy for CMT. “These...

A Taycan Owner Buys a Tesla: Informal Battle of Two (Very Different) EVs!

I guess this is very much down to location. I have had my M3P for almost 3 years and do not have a bad word to say about it. Around a year ago I had an issue where the car would not charge, reported the incident on the Telsla app, they then contacted me and stated they had remotely diagnosed the...

Wish I had not watched this! Software issues

Like many people on here I have been waiting for my Taycan for what seems like forever (since April 2021)..but it’s due to arrive end of July 2022 (hopefully). So I watch every YouTube review/video I can to keep me entertained waiting for the car to arrive. Reading some of the posts on here is...

    CT4 or CT 4S

Not fully accurate (Which Porsche Dublin should be aware of) the wheels are slightly different along with the 4S coming with the PDLS Plus lights as standard. You can also get the Door sills guards brushed aluminium in black as a no cost option on the 4S.

Buying a Taycan RWD with too many options. Am I making a mistake?

Another couple of items to consider that come as standard on the 4S: - Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (must have in my opinion) - 19-Inch Taycan S Aero Wheels (moot point if your going for other wheels)

Dealer wants to contribute £500 to spec the sunroof

All personal preference of course but with the ST I think only black can pull it off: Where as other colours such as my chosen mamba green, the spoiler ruins it for me.

I squeezed them for ceramic paint protection....was hard work but had to feel like I got something!

Dealer wants to contribute £500 to spec the sunroof

Agree with the other posts here go with the solid roof. I certainly have for my 4S ST as I much prefer the aesthetics without it especially with the colour coded spoiler at the rear IMHO the panoramic roof looks out of place. I am also purchasing outright for myself and have no thoughts on...

    Slow progress...but progress.

So mine is on this stage above, has yours now got to stage 4 (as in production completed)?
