Last I got was last Monday:
Production completed last Monday 11/07/2022. Original expected delivery date was 29/07/2022 but as can be seen above seems like it is going to chill out at Emden port for a couple of months!
I’m currently in a M3P and it’s definitely faster in straight line performance than my upcoming 4S ST. I also test drove a GTS and couldn’t notice much difference between that and the 4S in straight line acceleration. If you really want your Taycan to be quicker I think you’ll need to step up to...
I mentioned it in another thread, the whole ordering system is outdated and obviously susceptible to bias. The established manufacturers need to take a good look at how Tesla manages this.
There’s no salesperson dressed up in suits, who needs negotiating with to get a ”good” deal. The price is...
My guess is it’s MY related. Not sure if your lock is for a MY22 model or a MY23 model? Mine which completed build on Monday 11th July is a MY22 and when I open the Porsche code in the configurator it shows the MY22 pricing (around 4 grand less than the exact same configuration using todays MY23...
Was reading up on this yesterday and at first I saw the headline that heated seats and heated steering wheel is now on the subscription model. However reading up a bit more it is only for those people that did not option it at build time....which I think is actually a good feature.
I can see...
Also just got an update and seems to confirm the 8 week delivery delay!
As can be seen below original planned delivery date was 29/07/2022 which has now been pushed to 30/09/2022. Seems like it is going to sit at the port for 2 months
Silver lining hopefully is that our cars are still the MY22 and therefore do not get the additional price increase that the MY23 has brought without any noticeable changes/additions in spec.
Like you I have been waiting for an eternity, but at least it seems to be getting closer!
I am on a similar schedule as @SCPoster with expected build to start 24/06/2022
Dealer contacted me last Friday and mentioned vehicle completion dates have slipped to 15/07/2022 with expected delivery to dealership apparently still 29/07/2022!
Maybe I will hear from him today, but I am...
It really comes down to personal usage, my current M3P states it can do around 300 miles in the summer, winter that drops to maybe 240 ish. In almost three years usage I have never needed the range as my average commute (pre-covid) was approx 30 miles.
For my upcoming Taycan 4S I have not...
I guess a bit mixed, it really comes down to the customer advisor. Initially when I placed my deposit dealt with Colin (who is great)...eventually that got changed to Jonathan (who was not so great and as I found out after the time has now left the company)...I am now with Suvodeep who has also...
Makes sense as if the build slot slips to a new model year then it has to take into account those changes. Almost had that with my upcoming Taycan but luckily squeezed into a MY22 build so avoided the price increase…on the flip side it meant I could not spec matrix lights!
Strangely enough the exact opposite happened in my case. Ordered April 2021 and decided to wait to see the at that stage un confirmed GTS model, That came around November 2021 and I wasn’t convinced on it. January 2022 came and they announced the ST in all trims so finally chose a 4S ST that’s...
Yeah only 15 sites at the moment in UK: https://www.electrifying.com/blog/article/it-s-official-tesla-opens-up-uk-supercharger-network-to-non-tesla-drivers
Round about end of April 2022 the MY23 price increases were announced.
Theres this thread: https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/uk-configurator-updated-for-my23.10598/ and this one: https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/my2023-us-price-increases.10597/ which covered it in detail.
Is that on top of the increase they already applied to all the MY23 versions?
My MY22 4S ST has a base price of £84,830 and the new MY23 price is £86,000 which is about a 1.5% price increase. If they are going up again so soon there will be a lot of angry new buyers abou!
I have solar panels, Tesla Powerwall and been pretty much doing what you described for the last couple of years. The key thing here is what output your solar panels can produce, my system is a 7.8kW which conveniently fits with the max the car can charge at on a single phase system (here in UK)...
Haha yes in GeordieLand though getting my car from Teeside dealer rather than Newcastle. My dealer actually rang me up with an update about an hour ago which makes a change from having to push for updates.
Similar for mine which was scheduled to go into production last week. The actual delivery date has not changed but a couple of the steps have two weeks added to them. I fully expect at least a couple of week delivery delay based on that which would be 2nd week of August
