Easy one for me, Mamba Green is my colour of choice and I would always choose the Turbo over a 4S (even though I am getting a 4S ST) if money is not a consideration. If money is a consideration then the 4S gives the most bang for buck in terms of price to performance comparisons in the whole range.
Did you try adding your vehicle to your garage using the VIN? I did this a few days ago and managed to get things like the connected services activated and even gave the Taycan a name! I can see things like setting up Spotify, viewing the manual and importantly I can view the options added to...
I would say go for metallic black...simply because mamba green is hands down the best colour and mine is built awaiting delivery and it would be nice to have less mamba greens on the road!
That‘s not too bad a price considering Tesla Powerwall is approx 10k nowadays (was around 7.5k when I had mine installed in 2019). The key selling point with Powerwall for me was it can output at 5kW so covers easily having a kettle on alongside the oven. Also if you have a water tank it’s best...
One thing I think no one can deny here is that if winter tyres were mandatory in UK there would be a lot less accidents on the road. This in itself should be enough justification to put them on your own vehicle when temp is below 7 degrees. Each to their own of course but for me (and now my...
Another one who is in the winter tyres camp. What many people seem to over look is that winter tyres are not just for when it is snowing/icy they also perform better than summer tyres when the temperature drops below 7 degrees Celsius. I always tell friends and family it's similar to when you go...
That is amazing! Very jealous and an awesome setup!
True in that in order to export more than around 4kW to the grid you need to get approval from the DNO...but you can get your installer to install a limiter that will assure the max going to the grid is the 4kW mark and install any amount you...
Congrats on getting the green light! I think it can go either way, for example Acid Green or Rubystone Red may not be everyone’s cup of tea (I do really like acid green though) so could actually be harder to sell. It’s the same sort of principle with things like black leather seats being an...
Ahh not sure then one of the experts like @W1NGE might be able to shed more light. For me I just logged into the app or myporsche website with the email I gave to the dealer when ordering the vehicle and the car magically appeared in there allowing me to track some of the progress. I think maybe...
I would really like the 12 battery issue to have been resolved but just for a bit of context even though I moved to stage 5 on 2nd August this was what I received from the dealer on 7th August:
Not to be a bearer of potential bad news...but as mentioned above mine went into phase 5 on 2nd August...but is expected to be at the port for 3 months with delivery mid November :(
Very similar to above entered Phase 3 on 16/04/22, moved to Phase 4 on 19/07/22 and entered Phase 5 on 02/08/22.
What I did notice is that when it changes Phase you get a notification/alert - this was on iPhone/Apple watch.
Really hope so as that was one of the two annoying things I noticed on my test drive (which is now over a year ago!). The other one was how the car did not engage auto hold automatically when for example I pulled up at a roundabout. I since discovered on here that you have to press hard on the...
Nice to get proper detail, did you also get an updated schedule. If the above is accurate then end of October should be a worst case scenario which is better than my end of Nov ETA.
