I have the 18 way seats. It took me nearly a year to find the most comfortable position. I struggled up until then, to the point I was not enjoying long journeys as my back ached too much. The key for me was to have little lumbar support. I tweaked it up and down in very small amounts over a...
Were the 2 GTS’s you drove J1.2? Did they both have Active ride? On the configurator if you tick the dynamic package you get performance summer tyres which it appears are the Pirelli R as opposed to either Goodyear F1 or PZero. I guess the R tyre is going to feel more sharp, if this is what...
Thanks for the confirmation Mr Smith. Yes you can have a heated steering wheel with racetex. I guess the extra wiring for the two mode switches and paddles don’t allow enough room for the heated wiring.
I saw a silver CT4 yesterday and didn’t think it looked particularly special. Unfortunately I think the standard colour palette offered isn’t that inspiring. PTS is the only sure way to get what you want. Unfortunately that doesn’t help you right now!
First off, the colour you choose is going to be very much personal taste. You can ask in the forum but everyone is going to have differing opinions. Gentian Blue is nice. I’m not keen on the chrome window trim but I know you like it. I would also have privacy glass. Ice grey can look stunning in...
I do like pale blue and have considered it too. I think it looks best in sun light. I think I’d still like to go with something a little lighter.
Bahama yellow works well on a 911. I don’t think it would work on a Taycan. PTS is would be ideal but I can’t justify the cost of it.
There goes a debate that I keep changing my mind! I’m quite tempted for the Purple sky metallic. I’d like something different from the boring dark colours. But then there is the question of which wheels to go for. The Spyder wheels are lovely but I’m not the greatest of fan of black wheels. They...
I agree. My Taycan has all crayon interior and I really like it. The new interior will make it a little darker inside. All I will say though, is you can wait forever for a new upgrade to come. Life is too short to wait for the next best thing. There will always be something better around the corner.
Carpro do good products. I once ceramic coated one of my cars years ago with Carpro. For wheels I use Gtechnic C5 ceramic wheel coating. Not the best but it’s easy to apply and relatively cheap. As you say, it does help with cleaning the wheels.
That would be the answer. Except I like driving too much. I live in the UK where it rains more than it’s dry. My car never stays clean very long. I guess I’ve just contradicted myself with regards to the brake dust issue.
I use Bilt Hamber Atomac on my Boxster discs after wash, and whilst it does reduce the surface rust, it doesn’t eliminate it. I find it very frustrating on my black spyder r/s wheels.🤣 It probably wouldn’t bother most people but I can’t not see it.
I’m not tracking either. But I’ve done some high speed hard brakes and have been concerned at the lack of stopping power with the PSCB’s. I’ve heard the steel brakes might be better, but I don’t like the rust on the discs after washing and then going on the wheels. So it’s either PSCB’s or...
