I think I’m pretty much sold. Nice write up from piston heads. The one option I may add is the PCCB’s to address the brake issue. I’ve currently got the PSCB’s which I don’t find work that well.
I should have made it clear, it’s the ST I was referring to with Spyder RS wheels which aren’t the most efficient wheels.
I’m out of my depth with regards to drag science. Just thought if the numbers are the same then efficiency might be similar dependant on wheels/tyre sizes. I guess real...
Why do you think the Cayenne will have less range on the motorway than the GTS? Appreciate it is heavier. But it does have a bigger battery. Isn’t the drag coefficient similar? I thought I’d heard that somewhere. Looking at the configurator website and the range quoted for the GTS is 359miles...
I’m sure you’re right. The Cayenne might just be marginally better, particularly with the bigger battery. But then it’s also heavier. So not entirely sure. I am still very much more inclined for the Taycan. I just love it. I want to see some reviews on the Cayenne.
As much as it might be worth waiting, my Taycan finance is due up early next year. So I need to replace then. My main quandary, other than GTS or Turbo, is Taycan or Cayenne Turbo EV? The Cayenne would be more practical. Better tech, better range and faster charging speed. And new out as a model...
That’s really good to know. I am probably steering towards a J1.2 GTS with PAR instead of Turbo without PAR. Would like something more focused on handling. Just don’t want the GTS to feel slower than what I have at the moment.
Interesting. Even though it has less power when not in launch or push to pass? 600hp(GTS) vs 625hp (Turbo) It was what I was wandering about coming from a J1.1 Turbo too.
I found this review for those that haven’t seen it. Good write up.

@prj thanks for your descriptions and explanations . Very helpful. I’m still not sure which I would prefer. GTS with PAR or Turbo without. I’ll be looking at sport Tourismo instead of CT which I have now. The one thing I do like with my CT is the smoothness in normal when just cruising and going...
I agree about Turbo front end looks. I’ll be getting it through salary sacrifice so cost of GTS with PAR is the same as Turbo without, within £80/month. It’s down to handling and benefit of active ride or performance of Turbo which is still way faster with push to pass. I currently have a J1.1...
