From 2022 Turbo to 2025 GTS

Interesting to hear. I’m also thinking ahead for getting my aging in-laws in and out with the car, being able to lift up. Will make it easier for them.

From 2022 Turbo to 2025 GTS

What specifically do you like about active ride? I’m considering a GTS with active ride, but just not sure if it’s an expensive gimmick party piece or a game changer which makes the car feel better around the corners? I’m not disputing the technical innovation of it.

    Winter tyre pressures?

Half load. Unless I’m doing a long trip loaded with the family and cases, which is quite rare normally.

    Winter tyre pressures?

I set what the PCM suggests for both my summer and winter tyres. Not had any issues.

    Carmine red taycan

Congrats! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. The CT is also surprisingly practical.

    PURPLE SKY METALLIC Taycan Club

I love this colour. I think the Spyder diamond cut wheels look great as a combination. Rather than all black wheels.

    Planning a road trip South Sweden - Oxford - North/South Cornwall - Jersey ......

Having lived in Jersey for over 20 years, but not any more, I can thoroughly recommend visiting the Island. There is plenty to do and visit and the restaurants a plenty. If you like fish, then plenty of restaurants to satisfy.

6 months and 11k miles in my J1.2

Thanks for your impressions Boss Hogg. I have just ordered same. 9 months delivery. Currently in a Turbo CT. Looking forward to the extra range, charging speed and thermal management. Not to mention the extra performance. Did you get your struts fixed? Is this a common fault on the J1.2?

Anyone get sensor errors when it's cold?

Mine was booked into OPC for this issue. They found water droplets around the camera area and dried it off and fitted a new seal. Had it done over a week ago and not recurred since in the cold weather. I suspect it’s a design fault and will probably reoccur after a while.

Why does PCM Apple Music sound better than wired Apple Music

I use Spotify, and I agree the PCM version of Spotify gives a “fuller” sound which I prefer to the wired connection Apple CarPlay. They should be identical. But they definitely don’t sound it.

Tyre Pressure - whom to believe?

    Brilliant! Thank you.

Tyre Pressure - whom to believe?

Could someone with 21” tyres please post a photo of the B pillar tyre pressures? My car originally came with 20” tyres and the OPC changed them for 21” tyres to make the car more saleable. I only have a placard for 20” tyres on my B pillar.

    Rusted PSCB brakes

Btw, nice wheels. I have them too. So I’m currently trying to get one of my rear discs done under warranty. The car was in for the brake recall last week and during the health check they found the inside of the rear discs had areas where the carbide coating had come off. Initially they said it...

    Rusted PSCB brakes

Interesting that it states if hotspots are found on the disc it isn’t a warranty claim.

Road trip to France (Taycan GTS Sport Turismo)

I actually think that’s quite good considering you were 4 up. I agree about not buying the car for efficiency/range. You just don’t want to be charging up all the time if the range is too short. I need to stop regularly to use the facilities so would always aim to charge at the same time!

Road trip to France (Taycan GTS Sport Turismo)

Thanks for sharing your experience. It’s something I would like to do sometime. It would seem far more seamless in Europe than in the UK. What range were you getting on average when topping up to 100% with all 4 up?

    EV Parking in Harrogate

I would just park on street. The parking charges are very similar to the multi-storey. Tend to get a space on James St. normally. Unless you are particularly after charging at the same time.
