Thanks for the photos, but they’re not relevant. The discussion is about whether winter tyres are a legal requirement in Italy. They're not. I could happily drive my Fiat 500 in the vast majority of Italy on summer tyres during winter, and not break any laws. They're only required on certain...
You must be talking about a particular part of Italy, because every source I've found says winter tyres are not mandatory in Italy. I find it hard to believe people are switching to winter tyres in Reggio Calabria!
It is hard, I agree, but my schedule during the next two weeks doesn't allow it, and until a week ago, I was expecting to take delivery in December at the earliest, so it already feels like a good outcome.
My new Taycan arrived at the dealer yesterday, so I popped off and took some photos. I was going to wait until collection day to post photos, but I guess the spec might be useful for some people to see already, so here we are.

Yeah, in her blog last month, the lady who co-created Andersen explained how she was offered severance pay from the company she set up.
"With the good, comes the bad and the ugly. I learnt how to run a business and the struggles of keeping faith with a vision when things scale up and investors...
I ordered an Andersen a week ago, and now I'm disputing the charge with AMEX. Nothing was dispatched to me.
However, I discovered this charger, which is brand new and has been created by the people who originally started Andersen (before they were ousted by other shareholders who took it in a...
Maastricht.
Mine was a bit unusual, however, as it was initially indicating it left Suttgart without a battery, but then at the last minute was pulled off transportation. Two weeks after it should have left Stuttgart, it was still there, but now with a 12V battery installed. The battery was not...
I don't know why it has to do anything with the units. It's your account, you should be able to choose and it remain like that. I'm a Brit living in the NL, so I may want to keep miles...as it happens I'm used to km now, so that's what I want. But I still use mpg rather than l/100km. When I'm...
I saw my '23 RWD Taycan this morning for the first time. Just arrived at the dealer. It's the first one my dealer has seen with the 12V battery fitted and the first Taycan he's been able to deliver since July.

I wasn't even replying to you. I was replying to someone else who was questioning how someone could have Mission E rims in 19". It was you who chose to reply to me with insults, saying I "didn't know what I was talking about".
Enjoy your rims, Champ. If you're happy with them then that's ALL...
I couldn't care less where either your rims, or official Porsche rims are made. That isn't my issue.
If you put low profile tyres on these replica 19" rims, they will not fill the arches in the same way the genuine 21" Mission E rims do. You cannot just put 19" rims in place of 21" and expect...
My car was built in week of the 12th September. Initially it didn't have a 12V battery, and my dealer indicated it commenced its journey to the OPC without it...however, two weeks later I got a call out of the blue to say it was held back in Stuttgart before transportation and had the battery...
They're not the official Porsche Mission E rims. They're replicas, and blindingly obvious replicas too. The sidewall is far too big. You can see them in JRNJTAYCAN's avatar.
For how long though?
I contacted AMEX this morning, and they've started a disputed charge and will credit my account back with the appropriate amount.
The question is now, which EVSE should I get instead? I have an Easee One at home (the Andersen was to be installed at my mum's house), which...
I bought a charger last week and it should be delivered around now. This is news to me. The survey was booked in for two weeks time. I've not had an email or any indication as to what is happening.
Not UK wide. Just certain areas. The majority of the UK is not under any water use restrictions.
Thames Water has a hosepipe ban in place, but most water companies do not.
The Channel Tunnel is a rail tunnel, not a road tunnel. Vehicles have to board car transporters at the terminal at each side, and it's on-board where that photo was taken.
