Fantastic photos to demonstrate how narrow the regular double-deck carriages are on the Eurotunnel trains. Thanks for posting @Bigben That appears to be an E70 X5, which is 1,933 mm wide. The Taycan is actually wider than that at 1,966 mm, so you would have even less room in a Taycan.

As I've already said upthread, you just book normal height and size car and tick "roofbox". You shouldn't book as a large car or van because that is not correct as they would plan based on a much bigger vehicle.

The two cars have some pretty fundamental differences, the drivetrain and method of propulsion, for one. I don't think people are making decisions on which one to buy based on aluminium and chrome "bits".

Then that's a design flaw. They should fix it under warranty or make it clear that Taycans are not suitable to be parked under trees. Honestly, some of the BS service departments expect you to swallow.
