I had a message from my dealer tonight, informing me that my Taycan that was built this week is missing the 12V battery.
You were parked a couple spaces from where I parked last week.
Great! The 330e can only take 3.7 kW, but we still managed to get a full charge from empty, what with it only being a 12.0 kWh battery (gross).
I guess you went along the E40 just north of Liege?
I used to live in Luxembourg. I loved it.
It would be great if you did give us some feedback on...
Great trip report, as usual. I'm loving it.
I was at the Porsche Museum last week and I used the free Porsche chargers in the underground car park below the museum to fully charge my...BMW 330e Touring. :CWL:
So, yeah, if you happen to read this before you get there, use the free Porsche...
Fantastic photos to demonstrate how narrow the regular double-deck carriages are on the Eurotunnel trains. Thanks for posting @Bigben
That appears to be an E70 X5, which is 1,933 mm wide. The Taycan is actually wider than that at 1,966 mm, so you would have even less room in a Taycan.
Thanks for the useful info too. I never do Flexiplus, so I'm not familiar with the boarding process. That's a useful insight though if I ever do it.
Yeah, because the structure of the double-deck carriages is load-bearing (the side walls have to support the upper deck and up to five vehicles...
Thanks for posting such a detailed trip report.
Just a quick note about the Channel Tunnel. You had loads of room inside the carriage because you were in the single deck part of the train. This is where large coaches, vans, and cars with roof boxes get sent. The regular double decker carriages...
Sorry to hijack this thread, but this seems a good place to ask this question...
With regards to the Trip Computer, am I right in thinking there are three "buckets"?
1) "Since Start"
2) "Since Charging"
3) "Total Trip"
?
How many of these can you manually override, i.e. reset yourself?
For...
As I've already said upthread, you just book normal height and size car and tick "roofbox". You shouldn't book as a large car or van because that is not correct as they would plan based on a much bigger vehicle.
Exactly. If you want an electric car, you only have one choice; the Taycan. If you want an ICE car, you only have one choice; the Panamera.
Yet you think people are making decisions based on bits of chrome?
I'm absolutely responding to your post and continuing the discussion. The fact that...
The two cars have some pretty fundamental differences, the drivetrain and method of propulsion, for one. I don't think people are making decisions on which one to buy based on aluminium and chrome "bits".
I have a GTS Sport Turismo on order, with Mamba Green almost certainly my choice for the exterior. I'm agonising over which colour to go with for the GTS interior package. I think it needs it to brighten up the interior, but I'm not sure whether to go for Crayon or Carmine Red. At the moment I'm...
Then that's a design flaw. They should fix it under warranty or make it clear that Taycans are not suitable to be parked under trees.
Honestly, some of the BS service departments expect you to swallow.
There was the Pajun (PANamera JUNior) and the Pajun-E rumoured. No idea if and when these cars will come.
Look at what else is being launched within the VAG universe for clues.
