Then they could have still had sport facia/diffuser as standard.

When will Porsche release a 1000HP Taycan?

I think the better question is when will they release a Coupe? And is 750 hp not good enough for you? Honestly don’t think you’d feel the difference between 750 and 1000.

    Just noticed a subtle difference

I’m wondering why they chose to not differentiate them. A Turbo in every other Porsche has clearly different bodywork. It seems they should have offered the Turbos with sport design package as default. Strange.

    Just noticed a subtle difference

It’s has been stated there are no [external] differences between models aside from insignia, but I noticed there is a very subtle difference in the air intake design below the hood. Rwd/4S/GTS models above. Turbo models below. It’s not just paint, either; they are physically different.

    Door-Sill Guards photos?

Why is the text in black? It’s in white on turbo models. Unless it’s an illumination thing.

When you exit the car, do you "turn it off" or not? (POLL)

So turn your music down/off before opening the door.

When you exit the car, do you "turn it off" or not? (POLL)

It should. Not sure why it even has to have a power button.

When you exit the car, do you "turn it off" or not? (POLL)

Do you power off your cell phone every time you put it down? The car should have a standby mode that preserves the battery and locks the doors, no?

Taycan RWD Acceleration without Launch Control

Yeah it isn’t going to win a drag race, but this car is about so much more than speed.

Taycan RWD Acceleration without Launch Control

At the end of the day we’re talking about a 5000lbs. car with 250 pound feet of torque. It isn’t going to win any championships. What Porsche needs to do is either introduced an S, or give this thing at bare minimum 350 pound feet of torque. Being said, I still wouldn’t own any other model. The...

New Taycan models launching at LA Auto Show on Nov 17! -- Sport Turismo and/or GTS?

Coupe would be top billing at the event [instead of Cayman GT4RS.] Sadly, just don’t think they could pull off a coupe on that platform.

New Taycan models launching at LA Auto Show on Nov 17! -- Sport Turismo and/or GTS?

According to my SA, allocations won’t be needed since this is such a high production car. You should be able to spec and order per usual; depending on A/RWD, the latter arriving a few months out.

I’ll be the guy in the back nursing a Weisswine wishing it were a cabrio coupe.

    Blinker Volume

Some new cars allow blinker volume adjustment. Mazda does this now.

    Blinker Volume

You really don’t even need the audible. It’s clear on the instrument cluster if they’re on or not.

    Blinker Volume

Any way to adjust? They’re quite loud and poppy.

In case you were wondering how much a battery costs

Dealer from NJ. Bought in ATL. He’s done this for decades; has several high mileage cars. Think Irving Gordon is his example. He does this to test and showcase the engineering, though personally I think it’s ludicrous. Granted, these aren’t personal cars; more like science experiments.
