But don't forget today is a new day........
Tariffs may change again by lunchtime.
The set quota of daily 'deals' must be met, even if it means tearing up previous 'deals' to make new 'deals'.
As they say - 'a deals a deal' (until its not).
😄
Good point
........unless buyers walk away from the brand to one that doesn't treat you like you have the word MUG written on your forehead every time you walk through the dealers front door.
Unfortunately, with the decision for the company to pivot to become more exclusive / profit focused...
Spot on.
It's the sort of practice you expect from some backstreet 2nd hand car dealer.
IMO Porsche seem to be in a race to the bottom with how badly they can treat Taycan customers.
Calling battery manufacturing defects 'ageing' to avoid future expensive warranty claims is a new low.
Latest headlines for Europe EV sales released yesterday (below link).
And all these new owners will not be going back to ICE.
Up 51% YoY in EU in March 2026. Staggering figures!
It's happening...
I'll just add one more thing (whilst looking at older EV battery efficiency).
Everyone forgets about ICE degradation.
This is an AI comparison for a typical 10 year old / 100k miles car.
Similar loss of 'efficiency' but EV performance is maintained, whilst ICE looses performance.
The positive news on all this.....
Recent survey showing EV batteries across brands are holding up really well in general.
I would imagine that newer cars (with more modern battery technology) will provide very good results.
Especially when the battery has been sympathetically treated over the...
A like for like (or better) courtesy car is the bar Porsche should aim for.
Driving round in a base Macan (if I was lucky and planned my faults 3 months ahead!) during the countless issues I had with my car, just added to the whole bad Taycan ownership experience.
It also makes sense. Put you...
I had mobile dent/scratch repair much worse than that on my rear bumper (ICE Grey).
I backed into a low metal post in a car park and car sensors didn't pick it up.
Although I was wary of using a mobile repair - it looked good as new until the day I sold it.
Maybe one of, if not the most common EVs on the road around where I live.
Have always been popular, right from first release, due to the company tax breaks.
When I bought mine Porsche Wilmslow said over 90% were corporate purchases.
Its also a pity the dealers aren't as diligent at assessing how many courtesy cars their customers will actually need, as they are at scrutinising customer tyres for minor irregularities.
That's really poor.
If you've had a lot of issues, they should be treating you above average, to try and make up for all the problems encounteted and hassle you've had to put up with.
Call it a gesture of goodwill.
Not do the opposite.
Just cutting you off because of so many issues/visits is...
It is worth reading this thread, as it is a very common issue for tyres, even though yours is just the one wheel?
Have you also checked the inside tyre sidewall on the other wheel?

So with used EV sales showing a sudden sharp increase due to fuel prices.
And new EV enquiries are also surging.
So are Porsche pivoting away from EVs just at the wrong time?
Should they have stuck with plan A all along, all electric bar the 911?
I bet there are some concerned faces watching...
Replying to my 1st March post, but surprisingly less than a month later.......
New Reuters article stating in Europe there is already a large swing from (used) ICE to EVs less than a month into the Iran war.
Enquiries for new EVs trending higher as well.
And with elevated fuel prices now...
Diesels looking like taking the biggest hit currently.
Reported in The Times yesterday that Uk Govt are already drafting up rationing measures - more so for diesel to save stocks for emergency vehicles etc.

Question for US members:
Are all those massive pick up trucks you have in...
I think we are all going to be feeling even more guilty with the latest news from the Gulf and oil price climbing again.
Ever since Covid, the world has gone mad!
As a UK owner I would listen more to what other UK owners recommend. Climate / geography / roads etc vary massively from country to country.
Eg Some people overseas barely use their heaters or windscreen wipers!
I would have surround parking right at the top. Our roads and parking can be very...
