I've still to go back in and have this explained to me with the expert.
On collection, as we were short for time, it was very much the basics we ran through.
The last couple of mornings before heading out I've put the precooked/heating function on via the MyPorsche app but is that just the...
That's good to know for doing quick calculations. Makes the range I'm achieving on my fag packet maths just a wee bit better than.
It's a bit of an eye opener when you leave first thing in the morning and it's doing 90kwh / 100 in the first mile or so! o_O
Magic. That's good to know. It's maybe down slightly from where it'll settle for me as I'm having constant shiatsu massage with air vents when I'm in it just now. :CWL:
Bought a 10m charging cable today (from a recommendation on here) as the 5m is a bit of a stretch when parking the car at home...
I guess it was worth the wait then. Finally (18 months after deposit) picked it up on Saturday.
First task was to drive it very nervously to the football. It felt huge compared to my Audi S4 in terms of the width but after only a few days it's pretty natural now.
Had it's first decent...
Yeah, I reckon you're about there.
Mine said that a few weeks back with no pictures and it's only in the last few days the pictures appeared when I checked again.
Might be worth contacting your rep for an update...they should be able to see what the tracking is saying.
It's quite the achievement that I've waited 18 months for it and the week I've got the collection date sorted, Glasgow City Council have pulled the free charging from the Charge Point Scotland options.
We don't have a charger at our work (yet) either so I'm really going to be relying on home...
Cheers. Might be I just need to bite the bullet and get one now then...
I think OVO organise it for you as part of the switch if you want. I'll check it out.
Do you need a smart meter for that? I always wondered how they know it's the car charging if you don't have a smart meter...or does it know because it's linked to the Porsche ID?
I've avoided having one added at home for ages as I'm certain my current meter runs reasonably slow given the amount...
I've just had an offer from MoneySupermarket to switch to OVO Energy as there's a deal that is better than the EOn one I'm on just now.
Am I as well doing that just now with a view to getting the OVO Anytime deal added on?
If you're slightly techie minded you should be able to find them following this...

My production images finally appeared!
It's only been the 18 months since the deposit went down. Last update was it's at the port in Grimsby...Should be picking it up the 1st week in April.
Nah, you said "carbon fibre wheels"
I wondered myself when I read on the post what you meant.
I think Whinge's initial question about it was perfectly fair and he's not assumed anything beyond what you said on your post.
It was like we'd all missed the option for carbon fibre wheels when...
I've gone for chalk as, with the exterior being metallic black, I felt it needed a contrast.
I was concerned for a while about the choice given it's a daily driver but seeing it in the pictures, it's the right choice!
Yeah, that's my understanding too (I think)
As long as we're buying a new car at a greater value than the balloon payment / value of the trade in at the time, there's no CT liability.
Happy with that as I means I can always convince the missus we need a top level new car as it's saving money! ;)
Checked with the wife first! She knows more than me. I'm just driving it.
That firm's tax year does indeed tie in with the financial tax year. It's the other one which is January.
That sorts that then. Thanks for the heads up to check.
